Supported Switches
ANM 4.3 supports Catalyst 6500 series switches with Cisco Supervisor 720 modules and Multilayer Switch Feature Cards (MSFC3).
Table 1 lists the supported switches and sysObjectIDs.
Catalyst 6500 series switches require Cisco IOS Release 12.2(18)SXF4 or later releases.
For more information about Catalyst 6500 series switches and supported software, see the product literature at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/switches/ps708/index.html.
Supported Routers
Table 2 lists the Cisco 7600 series routers and the sysObjectIDs that ANM 4.3 supports.
The Cisco 7600 series router requires either Cisco IOS Release 12.2(18)SXF4 or 12.2(33)SR8 or later releases. Note that Cisco IOS Release 12.2(33)SXH runs only on the Catalyst 6500 series switch.
For more information about Cisco 7600 series routers and supported software, see the product literature at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps368/.

Supported VMware Products
ANM 4.3 includes a plug-in that allows you to integrate ANM into a VMware virtual data center environment. VMware is a third-party product for creating and managing virtual data centers. Using VMware vSphere Client, you can access ANM functionality and manage the ACE real servers that provide load-balancing services for the virtual machines in your virtual data center.
To use the ANM 4.3 plug-in, you must use VMware vCenter Server and VMware vSphere Client 4.
For more information about using ANM in a VMware virtual data center environment, see the User Guide for the Cisco Application Networking Manager 4.3.
