On August 15, 2005, Cisco will introduce a variety of enhancements to the online Change Order Tool. These improvements will increase ease of use and improve order accuracy.
Some highlights of the changes:
Service-related information such as contract number and service period will be validated when orders are changed and submitted, resulting in more accurate order processing
Intelligent messaging will improve address book use
A suite of interface improvements, including enhanced service order related screens, for more intuitive use of the Change Order Tool
Please note that changes to credit card orders, government orders, try-and-buy orders, and service lines with revenue code R or Q will not be available in the Change Order Tool. In addition, promotion and E-Rate codes may not be added or changed, and renewal service lines will not be able to be created in this tool.
