Introducción

Este documento describe el procedimiento para la recuperación de la contraseña de administración para el Cisco Cache Engine 500.

Nota: Su configuración se pierde después de realizar esta recuperación de contraseña. No es posible conservar la configuración al recuperar una contraseña administrativa perdida.

Procedimiento Paso a Paso

Realice los pasos abajo para recuperar su contraseña.

  1. Establezca una conexión de consola al motor del caché. Recargue el dispositivo, o recarga o reinicialización del tipo en la línea de comando. Mientras el motor de memoria caché se reinicia, presione cualquier tecla para interrumpir la cuenta regresiva de la configuración de nivel bajo.

  2. Cuando el sistema lo solicite, escriba p para mostrar el menú de configuración.

  3. Cuando el sistema lo solicite, escriba c para ingresar al modo de configuración. Use las teclas a continuación para llevar a cabo acciones adicionales:

    • un período (.) para borrar un campo

    • un guión (-) para ir al campo anterior

    • la tecla Enter (Aceptar) para pasar al campo siguiente

    • ^D a salir

  4. Presione Intro nueve veces hasta que aparezcan los indicadores de campo.

  5. Ingrese el valor 0x4000 en la línea de comandos y presione Enter (Intro). Esta bandera permitirá que el motor de memoria caché pueda derivar la configuración de RAM no volátil (NVRAM).

  6. Tipo @ para reiniciar el motor del caché. En este momento, el motor de caché no está protegido con contraseña.

  7. Para configurar una contraseña nueva, escriba configure terminal (configuración de terminal) para ingresar al modo de configuración.

  8. Escriba user modify username admin password cisco para hacer que “cisco” sea la nueva contraseña.

  9. Ingrese write o copy running startup para procesar los cambios.

  10. Vuelva a cargar el Cache Engine.

  11. Para establecer los indicadores nuevamente en el valor original de 0x0, repita los pasos 3 y 4 e introduzca 0x0 en el campo flags (indicadores).
