简介

宽带论坛leavingcisco.com (以前帧中继论坛)定义了在其FRF.8实施协议的帧中继到ATM服务互通功能。FRF.8典型配置包括帧中继终点、ATM端点和相互作用(IWF)设备。一个Cisco 7200系列路由器用PA-A3端口适配器能自Cisco IOS 软件版本12.1(5)T提供交互作用功能。Cisco 2600及3600系列路由器和MC3810能也提供交互作用功能。帧中继到ATM服务互通(FRF.8)功能有益于需要与ATM骨干网连接帧中继和ATM网络、那些特别是网络和帧中继终端用户的网络服务提供商。

ATM反向多路复用(IMA)是一个宽带论坛规范leavingcisco.com (af-phy-0086.000)。它在分组的物理链路中以循环的方式介入逆向多路复用和多路解编ATM信元形成更高带宽和逻辑链接。逻辑链路速率近似是物理链路速率在IMA组中的总和。信元数据流被分配以在多条T1/E1链路间的一个循环方式并且被重新召集在目的地形成原始信元流。使用IMA控制协议(ICP)信元, Sequencing提供。
