Introdução

Este documento explica o procedimento passo a passo para promover a imagem do software nos Series Switch do Catalyst 6000/6500 que executam o Catalyst Operating System (Cactos) no supervisor, ½ do ¿  de Cisco IOSï no software do sistema MSM/MSFC e de Cisco IOS. A atualização da imagem do software é necessária quando:

Diferença entre CatOS e software do sistema IOS

CatOS no supervisor e Cisco IOS no MSFC (Híbrido):

Verifique exigência ROM da memória e da bota

Cat6500#

Instalar servidor de TFTP

O exemplo de saída neste documento usa uma instalação de um Cisco TFTP server em um PC que execute o ™ Windows 2000 Professional de Microsoft. Você pode usar um servidor de TFTP que pode ser instalado em qualquer plataforma. Você não precisa utilizar um PC com um sistema operacional Windows.

  1. Transfira e instale todo o software de shareware TFTP do Internet no PC que você usa a fim copiar a imagem do Cactos Software ao interruptor. O diretório de raiz do servidor TFTP deve ser o diretório no qual se faz o download da imagem do software. Você pode fazer download das imagens para o diretório raiz padrão do servidor TFTP ou mudar o caminho do diretório raiz para o diretório em que a imagem do software reside. Para o Cisco TFTP server, você pode mudar o diretório raiz do Visualizar Menu > Opções.

    Nota: Este documento foi redigido quando o Cisco TFTP server estava disponível para a transferência com o centro de software. A Cisco não suporta mais o servidor de TFTP Cisco. Se você usa o Cisco TFTP server, desabilite a função de registro para impedir os logs excessivos, que podem interromper o processo TFTP.

    A fim desabilitar a abertura do Cisco TFTP server, termine estas etapas:

    1. Escolha o Visualizar Menu > Opções.

    2. Cancele a seleção do registro Enable.

    3. Clique em OK.

  2. Conecte um cabo do console entre a porta de Console do interruptor e o PC a fim alcançar o comando line interface(cli) do interruptor. Refira a conexão de um terminal à porta de Console em Catalyst Switches a fim alcançar o CLI com o HyperTerminal.

    Nota: Você pode fazer o upgrade do switch com acesso remoto via Telnet. Mas, você perder a conectividade telnet quando os reloads do interruptor durante o upgrade de software. Configuração de backup e imagem de software

Execute um backup da configuração de switch e da imagem do software atual ao PC que executa o servidor TFTP. Se seu procedimento de upgrade falha devido às razões tais como a memória insuficiente ou o não bastante espaço no bootflash do interruptor apoiar a imagem nova, você pode sempre recuperar o interruptor ao modo normal com a mesma imagem que estou presente no interruptor. Se você perder a configuração do switch por qualquer razão, sempre será possível restaurar a configuração a partir do servidor TFTP. No Switches do Catalyst 6000/6500 que executa o Cisco IOS Software, você pode emitir o copy startup-config tftp ou o bootflash do copy startup-config: comandos a fim copiar ou backup a configuração ao servidor TFTP ou ao bootflash. Se você altera sua configuração, certifique-se emitir o comando write memory a fim copiar a configuração atual à configuração de inicialização e executar o backup. É possível emitir o flash de inicialização da cópia: comando tftp a fim copiar as imagens do software atual do bootflash ao servidor TFTP. No Supervisor Engine 720, use o disco 0 da cópia: tftp ou disco1 da cópia: comandos tftp.

CatOS no módulo do Supervisor

  4. Copie a imagem do software nova no bootflash do servidor TFTP e verifique se a imagem é copiada corretamente. Termine estas etapas a fim promover a imagem do software:

  1. Verifique se você tem bastante espaço disponível no disco 0: para copiar a imagem nova do servidor TFTP no disco 0. Você pode verificar o tamanho da imagem nova no PC que hospeda o arquivo.

Cisco IOS no MS e no MSFC/MSFC2/MSFC3

Refira como às imagens do software de upgrade no Catalyst Switch Layer a 3 módulos para que um procedimento passo a passo promova a imagem do software no módulo multilayer switch (MS) e no Multilayer Switch Feature Card (MSFC)/Multilayer Switch Feature Card 2 (Multilayer Switch Feature Card 3 MSFC2):/ (MSFC3).

Switches que executa o Cisco IOS Software

  1. Assegure-se de que você verifiquem a memória/exigências ROM da bota, tenha o servidor TFTP em seu PC, e o console do interruptor alcançado da porta de Console do interruptor. Se você não está pronto com esta instalação, veja seção de requisito ROM da memória e da bota da verificação.

    Nota: Diversas implementações de TFTP não podem transferir arquivos de 16 MB ou mais. No Cisco IOS Software Release 12.1(8a)E e Mais Recente, as imagens de software de sistema para o Supervisor Engine II são maiores do que o 16 MB. Use o FTP ou o protocolo de cópia remota (RCP) a fim transferir o 16 MB ou arquivos maiores.   3. O Cisco IOS Software exige duas imagens do software:

    1. a imagem do software principal

    2. a imagem de bootloader

      Nota: A imagem de bootloader é imperativa para o MSFC1, e deve ser colocada no MSFC bootflash. Uma imagem de bootloader não é uma exigência para o MSFC2. Contudo, Cisco recomenda que você usa uma imagem de boot como descrito neste procedimento. Uma imagem de boot é uma versão muito menor, reduzida proporcionalmente da imagem do sistema. Supervisor Engine 720

No Supervisor Engine 720, depois que o Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2 SX lá não é nenhum arquivo de imagem separada tal como uma imagem de bootloader e a imagem IOS principal. O Supervisor Engine e o MSFC executam uma única imagem do Cisco IOS em pacote.

Recursos comuns do Supervisor Engine 720:

  • Dispositivo de bootflash 64-MB ou adaptador do CompactFlash com o cartão do CompactFlash do 512 MB (WS-CF-UPG=):

    • Dispositivo de bootflash 64-MB (sup-bootflash:) apoiado em todas as liberações

    • WS-CF-UPG= (sup-bootdisk:) apoiado em:

    • Libere 12.2(18)SXE5 e umas liberações mais atrasadas

    • Libere 12.2(18)SXF e umas liberações mais atrasadas

  • Tipo entalhes do CompactFlash 2 de II (disco 0: e disco1:)

Nota: Porque algumas das imagens do software mais recente para o Supervisor Engine 720 são maiores do que o dispositivo de bootflash, um cartão do CompactFlash é recomendado. Refira a memória/tamanho flash apoiados nas plataformas de Catalyst switch para obter informações sobre do mínimo e da memória máxima disponíveis nas plataformas de Catalyst switch.

  3. Verifique se as imagens foram copiadas corretamente. Certifique-se do tamanho do arquivo da imagem nova combine o tamanho no centro de software. Erro = -21 e -45: O bootflash está completo

O erro ocorre nos switch Cactos quando tentarem copiar uma imagem ao bootflash ou espremer o bootflash que tem um formato incompatível. Este erro ocorre mesmo se o bootflash está vazio:

  • Console> (enable) copy tftp flash
    error = -21 
    Can not open destination file bootflash:[x] (file system full), 
    where 'x' is the image name.
  • Console> (enable) squeeze bootflash:
    error = -45
    Squeeze device bootflash failed (error reading squeeze log)
    

A ação alternativa é formatar o bootflash e tentar outra vez as operações.

Falha no upgrade do Software / Switch está em ROMMON

O upgrade de software pode falhar devido às razões tais como problemas da conectividade IP entre o interruptor e o servidor TFTP, ajustou incorretamente variáveis de inicialização, ou a falha de energia durante a operação de cópia da imagem do software ao interruptor. Estas edições podem fazer com que seu interruptor carreg no ROMMON. Problema conhecido: Perda de configuração de switch devido ao Downgrade do software

Um downgrade do software no Switches que executa Cactos causa sempre a perda de configuração. Emita o comando copy config tftp a fim suportar sua configuração a um servidor TFTP. Alternativamente, emita o comando copy config flash a fim suportar a configuração a um dispositivo flash.

Emita os comandos copy tftp config ou copy flash config a fim conseguir o arquivo de configuração do servidor TFTP ou do dispositivo flash a fim restaurar a configuração após o downgrade bem sucedido.

Erro inválido ou do dispositivo desconhecido do slot 0 recebido

Quando você copia uma imagem de um TFTP ao slot 0, este Mensagem de Erro está recebido:

Quando você tentar formatar um sistema de arquivo flash, um Mensagem de Erro similar a este pode indicar:

Os dispositivos flash são referidos com os nomes diferentes baseados nos motores do supervisor e no tamanho do sistema flash. Se o tamanho do arquivo da memória Flash é maior do que 20MB, considera-se um disco, ao contrário de um entalhe.

A fim ver a lista de sistemas de arquivos disponíveis no dispositivo, use o comando de sistema de arquivos da mostra e emita a cópia ou o comando format com o nome de dispositivo flash apropriado.

O dispositivo não contém um erro válido do número mágico recebido

O “dispositivo não contém os indicadores de Mensagem de Erro de um número mágico válido” em um Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series Switch quando é recarregado após uma elevação ou dentro da conversão.

Quando este Mensagem de Erro é alertado, o interruptor não carrega a imagem do Cisco IOS Software. A edição é causada por um sistema de arquivo corrompido no dispositivo de que o CPU tenta carregar a imagem do Cisco IOS Software.

Também quando você entrar no disco 0 do dir: ou dir slot0: os comandos, uma placa de PC flash sem formatação retornam “um Mensagem de Erro da informação de bloco ruim do dispositivo” ou “do número mágico inválido”.

Para resolver o problema, siga estes passos:

  1. Vá ao modo de monitor de rom (ROMMON).

  2. Carreg manualmente a imagem com bootflash.

  3. Verifique se o tamanho da imagem no slot 0 seja o mesmo que o tamanho da imagem transferido do servidor TFTP.

  4. Se o tamanho da imagem é o mesmo, formate o slot 0 ou o disco 0, e transfira uma imagem nova do servidor TFTP com o comando copy.

    Nota: Não é possível copiar arquivos múltiplos em um comando único.

  5. Verifique se a imagem esteja transferida diretamente do TFTP ao slot 0 ou transferida a um cartão ATA e copiada então dos cartões ATA ao slot 0. Se a imagem foi transferida diretamente aos cartões ATA, formate os cartões ATA antes que você transfira a imagem do servidor TFTP.

Recarregamentos de roteador após a elevação

O config-register value para o SP no supervisor é ajustado a 0x2142. O "4" indica a configuração do sistema da ignorância. O RP ROMMON tem o valor de 0x2102.

Devido a este ajuste, o código de rotas máximo ignora o valor que vem da configuração que é rotas máximas não-padrão. Uma vez que ignorado, há uma má combinação entre os valores configurados aos valores carregados, isto faz com que o roteador recarregue.

Como a ação alternativa, configurar o config-register value a 0x2102 no SP com os comandos dados abaixo.

Após a configuração, verificação se o config-register value é mesmo para o RP e o SP. O valor deve ser 0x2102.
