Ümit Cinali leads Cisco Turkey and is responsible for country operations. Prior to joining Cisco in January 2010, Mr. Cinali, was co-founder and CEO of EXENET in New York. Before EXENET, he worked at Exenet Technologies as President and COO, a pioneer in the Infrastructure as-a-Service offerings.

Mr. Cinali started his career at Raychem Corporation as a Marketing Manager in the Telecommunications Division, where he also established Raychem in Turkey.  After Raychem, he held executive positions at Melard Technologies, a leading provider of mobile computing platforms for field service automation and Fitlinxx, market leader in integrated health, wellness and fitness technologies.

Mr. Cinali graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1979 and completed his MBA at Harvard Business School in 1981.

Duncan Mitchell

Duncan Mitchell is responsible for Cisco’s business operations throughout the 84 countries in its Emerging Theatre, a multi-billion dollar operation that encompasses the Middle East, Africa, Russia, and Turkey. He is also a member of Cisco’s Emerging Countries Council.

Cisco’s vision for the Emerging Theatre is to lead emerging country innovation, prosperity, sustainability, and social inclusion through life-changing, intelligent networks.

Previously at Cisco, Mitchell ran the Emerging Markets East Super Region for four years. Before that he served as UK Managing Director for seven years. He joined Cisco in 1996.

Mitchell has a strong interest in Cisco’s Corporate Social Responsibility programs and is currently a member of the company’s Inclusion and Diversity Council, as well as Executive Sponsor of the Energy Advisory Board.

In 2008, Mitchell was awarded a CBE by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, for services to business in the United Kingdom.

Ahmed Beheiry, CCIE#9918 is a Consulting Systems Engineer covering  Emerging Markets with over 12 years of experience in the area of SP Video and Voice.  Ahmed holds extensive experience  on SP Video Solutions for IPTV providers, Cable providers, broadcasters and content providers throughout MiddleEast, Africa and Eastern Europe.

Ahmed Beheiry holds a Bachelor degree of Engineering in the telecommunication and electronic design from Cairo University. He also holds an MBA degree from ESLSCA Business School of Paris.

Ahmet Hasanbeseoglu is the Global Operations Director for the Public Sector in Cisco as part of the IBSG management team. He works in the East Europe and Middle East Region and regional leader of Cisco’s Internet Business Solutions Group based in Istanbul. Ahmet has over 20 years of international industry experience (telecommunications, consulting). Ahmet works with many of the leading service providers and governments in the East Europe and Middle East to help them become more competitive and productive through effective business processes and technology deployment. He is a Trusted Advisor to key stakeholders including Smart and Connected Communities, Broadband Powered Economic growth, Next Generation Telecommunications Service Providers and Innovation Productivity.

Prior to joining Cisco IBSG in September 2000, he was Andersen’s Head of e-business services in Turkey creating some of the East European countries strategic business plans. Ahmet was in charge of setting up the Ebusiness Services Line and lead the Telecommunications Vertical in Arthur Andersen.  His responsibilities ranged from People Development in the Advanced Services Knowledge team to selling e-business strategy and implementation projects and managing profitability of the business

Prior to joining Andersen in 1998, Ahmet worked for 3M Corporation at the R&D Innovations European headquarters in Zurich as a program manager of global knowledge systems implementations in different countries in Europe. He was actively involved and led many Knowledge Management, Technical Sales Support and Sales Force Development projects that 3M launched to keep itself as a leading innovations company.

Ahmet is a native of Turkey, speaks English and German. He holds a BS in Computer Sciences from Bosphorus University in 1992.

Ali Fuat Türkay, joined Cisco Systems in 2007, and is responsible for Cisco’s security products portfolio in Turkey as the Sales Manager. His recent posting within the Cisco was the Central Europe Sales Manager of Cisco’s Email and Web Security Products family called Cisco Ironport and worked in the financial services industry as sales manager.

Ali Saygivar, Systems Engineer, is a technical specialist in video conference technologies and works with Cisco customers and partners as collaboration consultant.

He has 14 years of experience within the IT sector, 3 of which have been with TANDBERG.  Prior to his role as Systems Engineer, Ali held the position as network expert in enterprise bank and in system integrators with responsibilities for network design, product support and training. Ali is looked to as an expert, trusted technical advisor in his field by the partners and customers. 

He holds a High Honor BS degree in Computer Engineering from Eastern Mediterranean University.

Allan M. Bjornstad

Director Emerging Collaboration Partners in Cisco

Allan Bjornstad, Director Emerging Collaboration Partners, Leads the Collaboration Partner Organization but also works with Cisco customers and partners as a “Collaboration Evangelist.” 

He has 23 years of experience within the IT and telecommunications sector, 15 of which have been with TANDBERG.  Prior to his role as Director Emerging Collaboration Partners, Allan held the position as CTO TANDBERG EMEA and Vice President EMEA, with responsibilities for product support, services, alliances, and training.  Allan is a frequent industry spokesperson and is famous for the energy he gives in his presentations.

He holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Electronic Engineering and certificates in Management and Business.

Ananth Bhat is a Product Manager in the ASR9000 team and is based in Bangalore, India. Responsible for the ASR9000 business in the MEA region, Ananth is also involved in the development of Services on this Flagship Edge platform.

 

 

Bader Alotaibi

Consulting Systems Engineer specialized in Wireless technology

Bader has been with Cisco for over 5 years and has played a major role in designing some of the largest WiFi deployments in the region. He covers the Middle East with expertise on working with different industries (e.g. education, healthcare, oil&gas, service provider). While his main area of expertise is Wireless, Bader is also a part of the Borderless Network team in EMEA working with Security and R&S teams. Along with his main duty of helping customers and partners design wireless networks, he takes the responsibility of bridging the channel of communication between the field and Cisco's Wireless Business Unit which may influence future product developments.

Responsibility:
Technical lead for whole Cisco's Collaboration Architecture Portfolio in the Turkey and providing collaboration solutions to the market align their business requirements.

Joined to Cisco in 1999 as a Systems Engineer for Enterprise and deployed one of the first IP telephony implementation within the Cisco.

Cem Alba yrak graduated from Istanbul University. He worked for Avea, Netron Technology, Hayat Bilgi Technologies, Virtue Solutions prior to joining Cisco in March 2011. He had more the 15 years experience in IT sector. He is expert at datacenter and virtualization technologies includes cloud, server, storage, networking, application and database solutions. He is certified for several Cisco, Citrix, Vmware, Microsoft, IBM etc. Technologies.

Cem Yener is a Business Development Manager in Cisco Healthcare practice. Cem joined Cisco in January 2001. During his 12 years tenure in Cisco he held various roles in Sales Management (Public Sector), Strategic Accounts management and worldwide sales systems deployment. He has very strong communication skills and experience in global and multinational environments. Prior to Cisco, Cem worked for 7 years in Andersen Business Consulting. He led many large size pan-European and also local engagements across various sectors i.e. Pharmaceutical, Media, Manufacturing, Before joining Andersen, Cem worked as a Business Development Manager in Akzo-Nobel. Cem has an MSc degree in Industrial Engineering from Bilkent University with a specific focus on Operations Research and an MBA (Master of Business Administration) degree from Bogazici University. He has also completed an International Management program in Insead (Fontainebleau, France). He is fluent in Turkish, English, French and has conversational level Dutch.

Danny Chami

Sr. Manager, Business Development Service Provider Segment Sales, Emerging Markets

Danny Chami is currently responsible for Business Development activities for Cisco’s Service Provider Segment Sales, in the Middle East, Africa, Russia and CIS and Latin America regions. His role involves working closely with Service Providers across the region in support of their business and technical strategy, in relation to key Service Provider architectural plays including IP-NGN, Cloud and Managed Services, Video and Mobility.

Prior to his current role, Danny spent over 5 years in a variety of Business Development roles in Emerging Markets, with focus on shaping Service Provider Core and Edge networks. Prior to that Danny spent 8 years with Cisco Systems in the Asia Pacific region in a variety of regional roles, as a Sr. Network Architect, Product Manager, Manager of Competitive Strategy, and Strategic Alliances Manager.

Danny brings with him both technical and business knowledge and experience, holding a CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert) as well as an MBA degree from the Australian Graduate School of management (AGSM). Danny also holds a B.SC. Of Computer Science from the University of New South Wales in Australia.

Den Sullivan

Den is responsible for helping customers in 84 countries align their business priorities with their IT strategies. His role is to demonstrate how an architectural approach to IT can help businesses thrive in a world where people want to share rich media with anyone, anywhere, on any device, at any time - securely, reliably, and seamlessly.

Prior to his role as Head of Architectures and Enterprise for Emerging Markets, he was CIO for a sales region that spanned Latin America, Africa, the Middle East and Eastern Europe.

Under his leadership, the IT Group made significant investment to support tremendous growth in the region. This meant transforming the organisation's foundational infrastructure while providing a portfolio of new capabilities such as Telepresence, and additional video and collaboration technologies.

Den joined Cisco, and the IT Architecture Group, in 2000. He was responsible for several large-scale advanced technology programmes including the initial portfolio of Virtual Private Networks, Wireless and IP Telephony services. In 2003 he managed the transition of the European, Middle East and Africa WAN to a Multicast MPLS network, the first of its kind globally.

Prior to joining Cisco, Den held a number of management positions in utilities, public sector and consulting. He has an MBA from London Business School.

Den lives in Dubai with his young family and has run the London Marathon on ten occasions.

Derrick Hirschhorn

Derrick Hirschhorn is a Business Development Manager with Cisco EMEA Defense Group. Derrick has more than 20 years of Defense/IT experience and has served as a CH-47D Helicopter pilot for eight years in the US Army. As Cisco's Business Development Manager, he works with defense customers throughout Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and supports customers with thought leadership and helping customer achieve greater levels of efficiency to help them improve operational effectiveness in defense strategic and tactical environments.
Dirk Anteunis

Dirk Anteunis
Technical Solutions Architect

Dirk Anteunis has over 25 years of software engineering and services experience with a particular interest in "border zones": he was involved in the not-yet-converged telecommunications networks as well as the traditional data networks and has substantial experience in application-layer networking.

Currently at Cisco Systems as Technical Solutions Architect, with primary focus on Network Management and Operations Support Systems. He applies his NMS experience on Data Center & Virtualization and/or Managed Services projects.

At Oracle he worked 2.5 years as a Technical Director, responsible for setting up a competency center in Jordan, for delivery of highly available information technology in the wireless, mobile, and telecommunications industry.

At DIGITAL Equipment he worked in various positions within the Communications Industry segment in design, implementation and/or service delivery of DECmcc & TeMIP Network Management Systems, DECss7, CRM or Trouble Ticketing as well as business applications. A NATting gateway for DECnet over X.25 or IP, extensions to the OpenVMS loginout functionality for a customer service application suite, or mobile e-mail over X-25 were the starting points of his networking career.

Dirk Anteunis has an Engineering Degree in Computer Science from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium, Faculty of Applied Sciences, specializing in numerical mathematics.

Frederic Detienne

Distinguished Engineer

Frederic Detienne is Distinguished Engineer at Cisco where he works across multiple departments to improve product serviceability and develop innovative products. He co-invented DMVPN and is the lead Architect of FlexVPN.
Frederic holds multiple patents and is an RFC author. He graduated as Civil Engineer from the University of Liege (Belgium).

Gilles Chekroun

Gilles Chekroun
Distinguished Systems Engineer

Gilles joined Cisco 17 years ago. His background is linked to IBM Mainframe networking technologies and he started at Cisco as a Network Design Engineer.
Later on, Gilles joined the EMEA Consulting group in the IBM team and led many projects in the financial sector.
For the last nine years, Gilles focus was Storage, SAN extension technologies for designing and implementing Disaster Recovery Centers.
He is now dedicated to Data Center Technologies like Unified Fabric, FCoE and Unified Computing System.
He is a member of the Cisco Emerging Markets Solutions and Architecture Team.
Gilles is in the Board of Directors of SNIA Europe (Storage Networking Industry Association) as Technical Chair.
He is SNIA Fibre Channel certified Practitioner and also VMware Certified Professional.
He holds a BsC degree in Computer Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology

Hania Baramki

Hania leads Education for Cisco across Europe, the Middle-East, Africa and Russia. Based in Dubai, Hania has been working for Cisco for the past five years in different roles. Most recently she was a Vertical Sales Manager with Cisco, leading Smart + Connected Communities (S+CC) in Mexico and Russia. She developed the strategy and business architecture to address the needs of state governments in Emerging Markets in Education, Safety and Security, and Healthcare. She developed a Go-to-Market strategy with Service Providers to drive some of these solutions (Safety & Security, Education, Healthcare and Government Services) as a service for state governments in Mexico. Finally, she enabled the replication of some of these business models and processes across the Emerging Markets (Brazil, Nigeria, South Africa, KSA & UAE).

Prior to joining Cisco, Hania was part of the senior management team of Al-Futtaim Real Estate (AFRE) leading the development and execution of all the ICT-related services for Dubai Festival City, a $4.5B mixed-use development in Dubai. During her tenure at AFRE, Hania managed a budget of $30M to develop and deploy all building automation systems, telecommunications services, and IT infrastructure. She also succeeded in implementing a City Management System to manage all building and municipal automation systems.

Before moving to Dubai in 2005, Hania worked as a Senior Consultant for Cap Gemini Ernst & Young in Paris for 5 years. She worked with C-level executives in the manufacturing and financial sectors to assist them in their diversification strategy and operational efficiencies. These clients included Société General, Snecma, LaFarge and Total Fina Elf.

Hania has over 18 years of multi-national diversified experience and has worked in a wide range of countries: Turkmenistan, South Africa, Jordan, Hungary, UAE, France and Mexico. Hania holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Union College, Schenectady, NY, and an MBA from Weatherhead School of Management, Case-Western Reserve University, CL, OH.

Jean-Pierre Muzard

Jean-Pierre Muzard is a Business Development Manager in Cisco’s Global Service Provider organization. He has over 25 years experience in networking that includes design, implementation of complex customer projects and service development for service providers. Now he is responsible for leading Cloud and Managed service creation with Service Providers. He also contributes to Cisco’s overall product and solutions direction through strategic alignment initiatives and senior customer engagements.

Josef Ungerman, Consulting Systems Engineer, CCIE#6167 Josef joined Cisco in 1999 as a Systems Engineer in Prague, Czech Republic, holding a M.S. degree from the University of West Bohemia. He earned his routing and switching CCIE certification in 2000 and over last 12 years, he has been working in the Service Provider pre-sales technical support environment. In 2006 he became a consulting engineer in Service Provider Architectures area, and joined IP NGN architects team in Central & Eastern Europe region. Currently he has been focusing on the Next-Generation Internet, IPv6, designing national IP/MPLS and RAN infrastructures, as well as Proof-of-Concept testing in SP Core, Edge, and Carrier Ethernet areas.

Kadir Kaya

As the Solutions Executive for EMEAR theatre, Kadir is responsible for Cisco's Data Center and Cloud Services Sales.
Kadir has joined Cisco in 2011 and has been leading the business development of CISCO Data Center and Cloud Services for various verticals including Service Provider, Enterprise and Commercial.
Kadir has Computer Engineering degree from Bogazici University. He has 18 years of international work experience with 8 years in North America. Besides Sales, he also has worked for several companies as a Senior Infrastructure Architect responsible from enterprise infrastructure, Networking, Security, Systems maintenance and Server management. Before joining Cisco, Kadir was working for Microsoft and responsible for Microsoft Business Productivity Platform Sales and Business Development. Kadir lives in Istanbul with his wife and daughter.

Peter Gaspar

Kah-Kin Ho has been with Cisco for more than 16 years and in his current position as the Head of Cyber Security Business Development he has been involved in providing thought leadership, both externally and internally, on how to respond to cyber risk and threat. Prior to this, he was a Solution Architect in the Global Government Solutions Group where he promoted the use of Internet Protocol (IP) technology in the Defense sector in Europe, Emerging countries and India. Kah-Kin has also filed 2 US Patents on IP Networking protocols.

In his previous assignments, in a span of 7 years, he was involved in the Service Provider/Telecommunications market in Asia Pacific where he had worked in the capacities of System Engineer, Consulting Engineer, and Systems Engineering Manager.

Kah-Kin graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo with Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering. He also has a Master degree in Security Policy and Crisis Management, a program jointly organized by the Swiss Armed Forces College and Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH).
