Registration / Coffee Reception

9:00 - 9:30

Introduction DevNet Program

DevNet is all about providing developers with the tools, the resources and the code you need, to build innovative, network-enabled solutions and applications.
In this session we provide an overview of Cisco‘s DevNet program and Open Source Projects. In addtion we will show some Demos from the DevNet SandBox inkl. Spark/Tropo API

9:30 - 10:00

Evolution in Branch Virtualization

Deploying services in the branch is something every MSP/IT organization must deal with. With Opern Service Containers, NFV-OS and X86 based platforms, Cisco brings a virtual machine hosting environment directly into the branch.

10:00 - 10:30

IoT/Mobility in Serviceprovider Networks

As Service Providers continue to develop M2M/IoT services, a set of functions needed to enable those services have emerged.
The session provides and overview on IOT FogComputing and (iOX) Containers on routers and switches. In addition we focus on LoRa as one of the most promising technologies as it is being adopted by a growing range of device, application and service providers. Cisco LoRa vision and solution will be described including Cisco LoRa gateways and accompanying network server.

Break

11:00 - 11:30

Contiv ACI Demo

The integration of Docker containers with Cisco ACI is enabled through the Docker networking plug-in offered by an open-source project called Contiv. The Contiv project is designed to offer operational policy control to container environments, and it offers an open architecture in which APIC drivers can be added. It provides policy based networking, storage and cluster management for containerized application.

11:30 - 12:00

Segment Routing, Open SDN Controller & Telemetry

Segment Routing allows a node to steer a packet through a controlled set of instructions, called segments. The instruction associated to a segment can be derived from shortest path routing, explicit/source routing paradigms with either centralized or distributed path computation. This session will provide an update on SR technology and how Segment Routing and Open SDN controller can be used to build a centralized SDN control plane.

Telemetry: Say goodby to SNMP and Netflow - Hello Streaming Telemetry. Learn how you can move from CPU hungry network management protocols to agile and threshold based real time network management visibility, thanks to streaming telemetry.
