Ammar Hindi is Managing Director of Asia Pacific operations for Sourcefire, Inc. (Nasdaq: FIRE), the creator of Snort® and a global leader in intelligent cybersecurity solutions. In this position he is responsible for corporate operations across the region, including sales, business development and strategic marketing activities. Hindi joined the company in June 2009 bringing nearly 20 years of experience in sales and management positions launching Asia Pacific business initiatives.

Before joining Sourcefire, Hindi was the managing director for Asia Pacific operations at Ipanema Technologies, where he developed and executed the sales and marketing strategy to launch the company's presence in Australia, Southeast Asia, and Japan. Previously, he served as managing director for Asia Pacific operations at Micromuse (Nasdaq: MUSE) where he expanded operations into the regional telecommunications and finance industries. During his nearly six-year tenure, he is credited with establishing the company's presence in Asia Pacific including establishing offices throughout the region; recruiting sales, technical, and finance personnel; and developing an extensive channel for selling the Micromuse product and services. Prior to that, Hindi held sales management positions with BMC Software and Sybase.

Hindi graduated with a BS degree from Case Western Reserve University and an MBA from Hult International Business School.

Bernie has been in the ICT industry for over 30 years. He is currently the Data Center and Cloud CTO at Cisco Asia Pacific, where he advises Enterprise and Service Provider organizations on building sustainable Data Center infrastructure and network architectures for hosting and delivering cloud services. In addition, Bernie represents Cisco on the Asia Cloud Computing Association, where he has served as Chairman for the past three years.





Bret Hartman
Vice President and Chief Technology Officer
Security Business Group



As Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Bret Hartman is responsible for defining the corporate security technology strategy for Cisco, as implemented by the Security Business Group.

Mr. Hartman has over thirty years of experience building information security solutions for major enterprises. His expertise includes cloud, virtualization, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web Services security, policy development and management, and security modeling and analysis. Mr. Hartman has spoken at dozens of security and privacy industry events and is a recognized authority on distributed systems security.

Prior to Cisco, Mr. Hartman was Chief Technology Officer of RSA and an EMC Fellow, where he defined the security technology strategy for EMC. This strategy drove the acquisition of RSA Security and the creation of the Security Division of EMC, now generating over $1B of annual revenue.

Mr. Hartman's previous roles include Director of Technical Services for SOA Appliances at IBM Corporation; Vice President of Technology Solutions at DataPower Technology Inc. (acquired by IBM); and Chief Technology Officer at Quadrasis Security (Hitachi Computer Products). Mr. Hartman began his distinguished career as a U.S. Air Force officer assigned to the U.S. National Security Agency.

At the U.S. National Security Agency Mr. Hartman helped to create the "DoD Trusted Computer System Evaluation Criteria" (Orange Book). Bret has also co-authored security industry specifications, security technology books, and a patent for enterprise application security integration.

Bret holds a B.S. in Computer Science & Engineering from MIT and an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.





Diwakar Dayal

Diwakar Dayal leads the Security Business Channel development for Cisco APJC. He has over 16+ years of experience in channel, sales, strategy, business development & consulting involving advanced technology solutions in IT Networking, Security & Collaboration areas working with global organizations like Cisco, Juniper, Dimension Data, Sify & Wipro.

Diwakar joined Cisco in 2010 and is now responsible for Security Channel practice development for APJC working on channel strategy, enablement and overall development. In an earlier role he was responsible for driving Cisco's Security business from a sales, strategy and Go-To-market for India and the SAARC region connecting with Cisco's customers, partners and industry consultants. Prior to this role, he was responsible for helping grow Telepresence business in India and drive the Go-To-market for VXC business for Asia as part of the collaboration architecture group.

Before Cisco, Diwakar was with Juniper Networks as Head of Banking & FSI Vertical responsible for creating Juniper's entry into Indian FSI market. In an earlier role with Juniper, he was also responsible for the Advanced Technology portfolio growing the Security & WAN Acceleration business for India & SAARC. Prior to that, Diwakar worked with Dimension Data, where he helped setup the Security Line of Business working with multiple leading security industry vendors.

Diwakar has also spent time on the consulting and system integration business as part of Wipro & Sify where he was responsible for helping build the PKI Security business around Verisign products and offering Security consulting services to large enterprise customers.

He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from T A Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) & is a CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) with strong background in security domain.





Erica Chean

Erica is a senior Product Manager for Cisco's Secure Access and Mobility Group; she is defining Cisco's next generation Identity Services Engine, ISE, with focus on mobile enablement and management offering. Erica's concurrently serves as the Product Manager for AnyConnect client focusing on streamlining remote access experience. Previously Erica has held senior positions as a Product Manager for enterprise and consumer's products and services. She joined Cisco in 2013 and has extensive experience with developing product strategy, product features, partnerships, and go-to-market plans to drive adoption of the product. Erica holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a Master degree in Systems Engineering and a Master degree in Business Administration from Queen's School of Business, Canada.





Eyman Ahmed

Eyman has 17 years' experience as an Information Security professional. Eyman has worked in Education, Finance, Government, and Technology sectors during this time. He has extensive capability in policy, architecture and the delivery of security control technologies that enable businesses to achieve their goals.

Joining Vodafone Australia in 2004, Eyman has first-hand experience of the security challenges associated with integrating two operational telecommunications providers when Vodafone Australia merged with Hutchison 3G Australia to form Vodafone Hutchison Australia (VHA) in June 2009. Eyman has held the position of Head of Information Security since April 2012. Eyman is accountable for the budgeting, planning and execution of the Vodafone Australia Information Security strategy. Eyman's remit encompasses Network, IT and Corporate business units as owner and sponsor for the delivery of security capability, governance and operational security functions.

Eyman is a key influencer between Vodafone shareholders, organisational stakeholders and the local Executive team on all matters Information Security. With the company investing heavily in rebuilding its brand and winning back customers, Vodafone has embarked on a multi-billion dollar commitment to the Australian market. New networks, infrastructure and IT systems are being implemented to ensure that risk is effectively managed without impact to customers, products or services. Critical to success of such a vast amount of change is partnering with stakeholders to ensure secure outcomes for customer and business alike.





Jason Wright

Global Field Product Management



Jason Wright leads the Global Field Product Management team for Sourcefire, now part of Cisco. Through ongoing interactions with customers, partners, and sales team members, Mr. Wright defines product requirements, positioning and go-to-market strategies for Sourcefire's network and endpoint security solutions.

Prior to this role, Mr. Wright held Product Management and Product Marketing roles with Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) vendor TippingPoint, and more recently, Unified Threat Management (UTM) vendor Fortinet. In these roles, Mr. Wright was responsible for go-to-market strategies, strategic direction, and product requirements.

Prior to joining TippingPoint, Mr. Wright led the Security Technologies practice at market research and consulting firm Frost & Sullivan. Under the title of Industry Analyst and Program Leader, Mr. Wright authored reports and consulted clients on the direction of numerous security technology markets.

As a fifteen-year veteran of the network security industry, Mr. Wright brings a unique perspective and a critical eye gained from his role as an industry analyst; and is passionate about sharing his experiences with others in the industry.





Ken Hammond

Ken Hammond is Director of WW Channel Sales for Cisco's Global Security Sales Organization (GSSO) and came to Cisco via the Sourcefire acquisition. Hammond's dual responsibility at Cisco is to build vibrant security practices in Cisco's largest reseller accounts WW and ensure the GSSO has a strong, cohesive growth channel sales strategy WW.

Hammond was selected as acquisition business lead for integrating Sourcefire's WW channel with Cisco's. Ken is a proven leader experienced in managing teams selling security technology via resellers, technology partners and distributors WW. Built trusted business relationships with channel partners (both exec and tech side) resulting in rapid revenue growth and exceeding sales goals.

Prior to joining Sourcefire, served as Symantec's Global Partner Alliance Manager and as lead negotiator for a three-year partnership with HP worth more than $500M. Awarded Symantec's highest achievement at the Worldwide Sales and Marketing Conference for innovative work with Adobe, transforming a negative partnership into one which earned Symantec $25M in non-forecasted "net new" revenue in its first two years.

Integrated marketing certificate from the University of Washington and a bachelor's degree in Journalism from Cal State Long Beach.





Madhukar Tummala

Madhukar Tummala is Sales BDM- EN & Security Architectures - APJC Distribution. In his current role, Madhukar defines and drives the execution of the Distribution business development plans for Enterprise Networking & Security architecture in order to achieve growth plans through our Distributor partners across APJC.

Madhukar has spent the last fifteen years in the IT industry in a variety of roles in Sales & Marketing, Business Development, Strategic Alliances, Channel Management and Key Account Management.

For the last eight years, he has been with Cisco in various roles in Distribution, Channels and Account Management handling Key Partners and Customers.

In his previous role at Cisco India, Madhukar was responsible for the alliance with Cisco's largest Distributor for India & SAARC where he grew the revenue three folds and made immense contribution to drive the Partner Led Velocity Promotions across India & SAARC – the 9th Promotion was launched recently for H2FY14.

An MBA and a Mechanical Engineer, Madhukar previously worked with IBM and CMC Limited (A TCS Company) before joining Cisco India.

Mun Hossain is Director of Product Management for Data Center Security and Content Security at the Security Business Group at Cisco. Mun joined Cisco in 2000. During his tenure with the Security team, Mun has led several key product lines including Firewall, IPS, VPN, Email/Web Security, and DDoS. Most recently Mun led a team to embed security into Cisco's SDN framework. Prior to his role in security, Mun also brought to market new and emerging technologies in the video and collaboration space, in the area of media transformation for Telepresence.





Olaf Krohmann

Olaf Krohmann is Director Cisco Security Solutions, APJC. His organization supports customers with Security Solutions to protect their critical assets and to cope with modern Cyber Threats. He is also driving new innovations for managing Cyber Threats effectively. Prior to this role, Krohmann was responsible for the Borderless Service Group in APJC. With his team he was helping large Enterprise and SP Customers in APJC with consulting, assessment and deployment services for Cisco' core networking services.

Prior to his current role he was driving Cisco's technology vision and strategy with the Cisco Briefing Centers and Proof of Concept Labs in APAC. Krohmann has innovated the Briefing, Demo and Proof of Concept Program in APAC significantly and introduce new customer-focused services to the program. In just 18 months 5 New Briefing Centers in APAC have been built to create a new kind of world-class customer experience and presents Cisco products and services to highly qualified prospects and visitors.

Prior to this Krohmann was Systems Engineers Director in North Asia for 2 years and in the same role in Germany for 4 years. He was instrumental in transforming Cisco's business practices for the System Engineering community in EMEA and APAC.

Olaf Krohmann joined Cisco in 1999, and previously worked with o.tel.o. Communications, Nokia Cable and has been a Teaching Assistant at University of Magdeburg.

Krohmann received his graduate degree in Engineering/Cybernetics from the University of Rostock. He also completed the General Management Diploma at the St. Gallen Management Institute. As an accomplished speaker and author, Krohmann has spoken at major technology events worldwide, and his writings include over thirty papers/articles.





Pankaj Narayan

Pankaj Narayan leads the Strategy & Architecture organization for the APJC Partner Organization at Cisco. In this role, he works on helping evolve the Partner Organization strategy, working with various stakeholders across the organization. His team is responsible for directing Cisco's efforts in helping partners build out architecture-based practices for Cisco's 4 key architectures, and also for ensuring that there is adequate enablement and partner planning in place to support this buildout.

Pankaj joined Cisco in 2009 to develop the UCS ecosystem and also managed one of Cisco's largest and most strategic partners in a regional capacity.

Prior to Cisco, Pankaj worked at NetApp, where he spent 8 years in a variety of APJC and HQ roles, including service channel development, managed service delivery, field marketing and alliances, and enterprise solutions and partner ecosystem build-out. Prior to NetApp, he was at Corio in California, which was one of the first startups in the Cloud space funded by Kleiner Perkins. Earlier, he worked in business development and strategic alliances roles at Oracle, as a management consultant at Booz Allen & Hamilton in New York and started his career as a systems software developer at Tandem Computers.

Pankaj has a B.Tech. in Computer Science from IIT Delhi, an M.S. in Computer Science from Iowa State University and an MBA from Wharton. He moved from the US to Singapore in 2004, and has recently become a Singapore citizen.

Raja Patel is responsible for the portfolio strategy and development of security solutions for Cisco's Security Business. His responsibilities include building solutions & managing operations associated with Cloud, Threat Intelligence, Web and Email Security. Raja has been at Cisco for 13 years and during this tenure he has product managed a broad portfolio of products within Cisco's Enterprise Networking Business Group, developed and accelerated new consumption & business models such as Enterprise Licensing, and lead strategic initiatives to develop more agile business practices across Cisco. Mr. Patel holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering with a Minor in Mathematics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, and an MBA in Global Business Management.





Scott Lovett

As Vice President of Cisco's Worldwide Security Sales, Scott Lovett leads an organization focused on defining the company's go-tomarket and route-to-market strategy for the security architecture. By working closely with a variety of cross-functional teams, including technology business units, the Cisco Partner Organization, and other sales organizations across Cisco, Lovett and his organization help customers successfully leverage technology to solve complex business issues.

Lovett has more than 20 years of experience in the networking and telecommunications industries, and has been with Cisco since 1994. Most recently, Lovett was a member of a core team that led the acquisition and integration of Sourcefire, an intelligent cybersecurity solutions company, into Cisco's sales processes. He is responsible for introducing and promoting a universal approach to both the route to market and go-to-market strategies and execution.

In his previous role at Cisco, Lovett was Vice President of Sales for the Americas Enterprise Architectures. During his tenure with the company, he held pivotal sales leadership positions in the Collaboration Architecture, Enterprise, Public Sector, and Service Provider organizations. Prior to joining Cisco, Lovett held numerous technical and sales leadership roles at Lightstream Corporation, Memorex Telex, and Ungermann-Bass.

In addition to being an active member of Cisco's Diversity Board, Lovett speaks frequently to professional and educational groups on topics including the impact of technology on business transformation and the characteristics of successful matrix leadership. He also serves as on the Advisory Board for USA Voice and Data, a leading national broker of innovative and reliable business-quality voice and data services.

Lovett holds a bachelor's degree in communications from Eastern Illinois University.





Stephen Dane

Stephen Dane is the Managing Director of Security Architecture at Cisco and has responsibility for developing the Security revenues across the Region. Stephen has been with Cisco for over 4 years, and was previously the EMEA Vice President for cloud based web security company ScanSafe, which was acquired by Cisco in December 2009. Since then, Stephen has also led the UK Network and Content Security team, and was responsible for integrating the ScanSafe business into Cisco.

Stephen has over 20 years' experience in the IT and Telecoms industries, starting out with BT, working in Asia Pacific and UK, and then working for cloud and mobile software start-up companies such as MessageLabs, iPass and ScanSafe, before being acquired by Cisco.





Vince Hwang

Vince Hwang is Product Line Manager for Cisco's Advanced Malware Protection (AMP) portfolio. A long-time leader and veteran in Security.

Mr. Hwang previously served as Director of Product Management at Sourcefire, and has played key roles in driving product strategies at companies that include BitDefender, Trend Micro, and Symantec.

Q: Are substitutions allowed?

A: No, substitutions are not allowed. Cisco APJC Security Connection is an invitation-only event. A substitute has to be submitted for consideration through your Cisco partner development manager. Q: May I register on behalf of another person?

A: No, registration on behalf of another person is not allowed.

Q: Do I need to wear my badge during the entire conference?

A: Yes, badges must be worn during the entire event, including meal functions and evening social activities, so that you can be readily identified as an attendee of the event.

Q: May I bring a guest? What functions are guests allowed to attend?

A: Unfortunately spouses of guests are not permitted to attend any sessions, social events, or meal functions.

Q: What language is spoken?

A: The official language of the conference is English, and all sessions will be presented in English.

Q: Will wireless be available at the event?

A: You will have to pay for your own air travel. Cisco will be paying for 3 nights' accommodation from June 22 to 24 only - this applies to invited partners only. A: Taxi services are available at the airport. A one-way taxi fare between Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK) and InterContinental Bangkok/ Holiday Inn Bangkok costs approximately THB 450 (USD15).

Cancellation Policy for InterContinental Bangkok and Holiday Inn Bangkok
Charges will be levied for any cancellation made after May 11, 2015.
In the event that you fail to arrive at the hotel or cancel the booking after May 11, 2015, a cancellation charge equivalent to the entire stay of the room will be charged to your credit card. No refund is permitted.
