Anoop Vetteh
Director

Anoop Vetteth, Director, Cisco, leads the product management team for Nexus 2-7K data center switching. Prior to this Anoop led the enterprise networks market strategy team for Americas successfully driving new sales motions for wired/wireless and security. Anoop was also the product line manager for Catalyst 4K and during this time grew he grew the portfolio to $2B+ yearly runrate business. Anoop started his career in Cisco as a system design engineer, architecting Catalyst switches. He led Cisco's representation at IEEE 802.3 Power over Ethernet Plus, Energy Efficient Ethernet and 40G standards between 2006 and 2009. Anoop holds 7 patents in technologies that have been productized on many switching platforms. Anoop graduated from University of Illinois with master's degrees and from Indian Institute of Technology Madras with bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Bernie Trudel
Data Center CTO
Cisco Systems, Asia Pacific

Bernie has been in the ICT industry for over 30 years. He is currently based in Singapore where he is the Data Center CTO at Cisco Systems Asia Pacific. Bernie is using his twenty years of Cisco technology experience to advise Enterprise and Public Sector organizations on building sustainable Data Center infrastructure and network architectures for hosting and delivering cloud services. Bernie's extensive background in network design coupled with his indepth knowledge of network security and network application services, enable him to provide Cisco customers with a wide breadth of options when designing cloud architectures to meet the needs of their targeted user segments. In addition, Bernie represents Cisco as the chairman of the Asia Cloud Computing Association.

Prior to Cisco, Bernie worked as an IT consultant in Europe and ANZ during which he advised clients on their network architectures. Bernie is an Electronic Engineer from Canada, where he started his career as a hardware design engineer and earned two patents for his innovative work.

Clarence Barboza

APJ Partner Organization

Clarence Barboza is Director, Cisco Partner Organization for the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region. In this role, Clarence is primarily responsible for leading, developing and executing the technology and architectures strategy and partner enablement functions for the Cisco partner ecosystem in the APJ region.

Prior to this role, Clarence was responsible for managing and growing Cisco's business with its leading strategic global Systems Integration partner. As a member of Cisco's APJC Channel Partner Organization leadership team, Clarence worked closely with Cisco's sales and channel leaders in APJC and in the Worldwide Sales and Partner Organization to nurture existing partner relationships and drive business growth across all market segments and technology/solution areas.

Clarence joined Cisco a member of Cisco's Asia Pacific Commercial sales development team and helped Cisco drive greater technology adoption for Commercial/Mid Market customers while enabling partners to improve their profitability with Cisco.

Prior to joining Cisco, Clarence was the Regional Marketing leader for Dell's Small and Medium Business segment across India and ASEAN regions.

Clarence has earned an MBA from Loyola University, Chicago and currently resides in Singapore with his wife and two young children.

Cynthia Johnson

As the Global Sales Lead of Cisco's Data Center UCS Sales, Cynthia Johnson is charged with developing and leading growth strategies that drive revenues and open new markets across Cisco's compute, cloud, converged infrastructure and enterprise application portfolio of solutions. Specifically, Cynthia leads all aspects of sales enablement, including identifying and integrating new business models that drive value for customers and partners, from inception and incubation through to launch and global roll-out. Cynthia has direct line responsibility for Cisco's field based sales engagements accelerating Enterprise Application Sales for SAP HANA, RISC Migration, VDI, Big Data, Microsoft Cloud, as well as Cisco's UCS Integrated Infrastructures and Cloud solutions.

Cynthia was a key contributor this past year; both in M&A activities as well as with the strategies that saw explosive market growth of Cisco's x86 platform, where it ranks number 1 for the Americas and number 2 for the world as reported by IDC. She is excited about the potential this year holds as Cisco's UCS offerings continue to deliver value across a diverse group of customers, including Fortune 1000 companies, global service providers, public sector accounts and small to medium businesses.

Darryl McKinnon

Darryl McKinnon leads the Data Centre & Virtualization business for Cisco covering Asia Pacific and Japan. Data Centre is one of the primary areas of focus across Cisco. Darryl is responsible for Cisco's Unified Computing & Unified Fabric sales, go-to-market strategy and technology solutions. He is actively engaged with Cisco's channel partners and is the primary interface with the Data Centre-related Business units in the company's global headquarters in San Jose.

In his role, Darryl works with customers and partners on Data Centre & Virtualization solutions that help organizations consolidate, virtualize and automate the provisioning of networking and computing resources to drive operational efficiency and business agility.

He is passionate about the convergence of servers, storage and network virtualization and how it can help businesses deliver greater IT agility, improved resilience and lower total cost of ownership.

Through his career, Darryl has been successful in implementing new technologies, managing core lines of business, launching key channel partner strategy initiatives, as well as the turnaround and high growth in the businesses & partnerships he has been involved with or under his leadership.

Darryl has over 20 years' experience architecting, designing and implementing internet applications, storage and data centre environments. He has previously held roles with Sybase, EMC, Brocade, Hitachi Data Systems and COPAN Systems. Darryl joined Cisco in 2008 to lead the Unified Fabric business.

Dave West
Vice President, Enterprise Networking Sales, APJ
Chief Technology Officer, APJ

Dave West is the Vice President for Enterprise Networking Sales and the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Systems Engineering and Architectures at Cisco Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ). He is a fifteen-year Cisco veteran with deep experience across engineering, solutions and sales, leading the thousand systems engineers supporting customers and partners in the Enterprise, Commercial and Service Provider markets. Dave West is one of the greatest advocates of Cisco's networking business and technologies in the region, with a strong vision and understanding of the transitions happening in the market that need to be delivered in Cisco's architecture and solution offerings.

Previously, Dave West was the CTO for Cisco's Worldwide Partner Organization, where he was responsible for working with partners to enable technical excellence in the partner technical community.

Dave has held a variety of other positions at Cisco, including: Sr. Director, Public Sector Systems Engineering and Architectures leading the systems engineers and managers supporting Federal, State and Local Government, Education; Director, Center of Excellence for Public Sector Solutions; Senior Manager, Systems Engineering, Department of Defense and Intelligence; Senior Manager, Advanced Technologies, responsible for voice, security, optical, and wireless engineering and pre-sales support for federal customers and partners.

Fabio Gori

Fabio Gori is currently Director of Cloud Solutions Marketing at Cisco, based in San Jose (CA).

He is responsible for Cisco Cloud Marketing strategy across all Cisco Business Groups as well as leading the Intercloud Market campaign.

Fabio started his career as software engineer in the air traffic control industry.

He then joined Telecom Italia where he covered Network and Marketing positions, including Product Marketing for the Retail and Wholesale IP Solutions for business customers and the definition of peering agreements.

Geoff is responsible for Cisco's UCS Director sales, go-to-market strategy and customer success across APJ.

Geoff has over 15 years' experience in service management, application development and software sales. Geoff joined Cisco in 2011 and has previously worked for BMC Software, Compuware and start-up companies in Australia.

Joe Onisick

Joe Onisick is the founder of Define the Cloud and a Principal Engineer for Cisco Systems INSBU.

Onisick has 17 years of IT experience spanning a broad range of disciplines, starting with server/network administration. From 2000-2005, Onisick was a US Marine, where he served in a number of roles focused on repairing electronics and managing electro-optical repair facilities.

Today, Onisick's expertise focuses on designing next generation data center architectures that include cross platform solutions and emerging technologies for large federal organizations, service providers and commercial enterprises. His specialty is in understanding client's business requirements, and designing an appropriate comprehensive solution that includes the end-to-end convergence of server virtualization, storage and networking, in order to build a foundation for highly efficient data centers and private cloud architectures. These architectures also include automation, monitoring, provisioning and chargeback capabilities in order to complete a private cloud model.

Onisick presented on network convergence at Emulex's 2009 OneConnect Product Launch in both London and Munich. He presented at Cisco's 2009 European Data Center Re-Launch on 'Why UCS' to a large audience of Cisco Account Managers. Phil Lee is a 11-year Cisco channels veteran, joined the Data Center/Virtualization Channel Go-To-Market team at Cisco in its Global Partner Organization(GPO) in September 2010. As a Sales Business Development Manager, he is responsible for the Asia Pacific, Japan, and China development of Cisco's data center go-to-market channel strategy and programs. Before moving to WW Channels, he spent six years in US & Canada Channels developing Channel partners in Northern California.

Prior to Cisco, Phil was a Practice Manager for a local reseller, Director of Engineering for a startup, solutions architect for a global reseller, and data center lead for SAS Canada.

Phil holds an MBA from Schulich School of Business in Toronto, Canada and a BASc in Electrical Engineering from University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Canada.

Ruma Balasubramanian

Ruma Balasubramanian is the Vice President of Cisco's Partner Organization in the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region. She is responsible for developing and enabling the growth strategy of Cisco's APJC partner ecosystem, including distributors, global strategic partners, independent software vendors (ISVs), systems integrators and resellers. Ruma leads a team that collaborates with more than 12,000 partners across the region to drive profitability, growth, and enablement for the partner community. As a member of Cisco's APJ senior leadership team, she works closely with Cisco's Global Partner Organization to scale global channel models to the APJ region, driving business growth across all market segments. In addition to nurturing existing partner relationships, Ruma is also responsible for building the future partnerships needed to deliver compelling value to customers.

Prior to her current role, Ruma was Cisco's Vice President, Sales Enablement, Asia Pacific, Japan, and Greater China (APJC), responsible for operationalizing the APJC growth strategy and served as the executive point of interface for APJC leaders into sales, services, and channel operations. She and her team were accountable for driving the efficiency and quality of operational processes and systems into the region, balancing standardization with localization. Previously, Ruma was HP's Vice President and General Manager, Enterprise Services (ES) for the Asia region based in Singapore, where she had full P&L responsibility for HP's IT Outsourcing, Applications, and Business Process Outsourcing contracts and client relationships in ASEAN, Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Prior to this role, Ruma was HP's Vice President, ES Sales for the Asia region, where she was responsible for developing and executing sales plans within the financial services, transportation, government and manufacturing industries. She led a team of 200 sales professionals to grow profitable signings by 50% in three years. Ruma also led sales support and enablement, sales operations, partnerships and alliances, and talent development.

Earlier, Ruma was Industry Sales Director in EDS' Americas region, where she led a sales team that captured several strategic government wins across the U.S. in collaboration with key alliance partners. During her sales career, Ruma earned numerous top performer awards, and she and her teams have been directly responsible for closing US$8 billion in total services contract value. Prior to EDS, Ruma held management consulting roles with AT Kearney and CSC, and worked at IBM as a systems engineer.

Scott Brown

Scott Brown leads the Enterprise Segment for Cisco in Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ). This includes responsibility for Cisco's relationship with its largest Global, Enterprise and Public Sector customers in the region. His organization includes sales, engineering and consulting resources that are experts in Architectures, Verticals and Solutions. His team also leads the entry into new market areas like the Internet of Everything, SaaS, Cloud Networking (Meraki), InterCloud and Software Defined Networking (SDN).

Scott has more than 25 years of business experience in the ICT industry. Scott held several key leadership roles in Cisco, most recently as Vice President of the Technology Solutions and Architectures organization for Asia Pacific, Japan and Greater China (APJC) where he was responsible for driving architecture product and solution sales across all customer segments and technology areas. Prior to that, Scott led the APJC Partner Business Group with responsibilities for managing relationships with the company's 16,000+ channel partners that drove 93% of revenues across the region.

Before relocating to the region, Scott was Vice President of Worldwide Distribution Sales, where he was responsible for leading and growing Cisco's distribution business from $9.6 billion to $13.8 billion in three years. Prior to this, Scott led Cisco's 1,300 person Worldwide Sales Enablement organisation as Vice President for six years delivering award winning customer-facing experiences and leading development of the Cisco sales force.

Stephen Dane is Managing Director of Cisco's Global Security Sales Organization (GSSO) for Asia Pacific, Japan and Greater China. He is responsible for the growth and profitability of Cisco's security business in the region, driving Cisco as the No. 1 security partner and advisor to customers and partners.

With more than two decades of expertise in the IT and Telecom industry, Stephen is well-known and experienced in developing security businesses, and in positioning security as integral to the business strategy of all organisations. Stephen has been with Cisco for six years, and was previously the EMEA Vice President for cloud-based web security company ScanSafe, which was acquired by Cisco in December 2009. A: No, substitutions are not allowed. The Cisco Data Center Partner Connection is an invitation-only event. A substitute has to be submitted for consideration through your Cisco partner development manager. If approved, a personal invitation will be sent to the substitute instructing him or her to register for the event.

Q: May I register on behalf of another person?

A: No, registration on behalf of another person is not allowed.

Q: Do I need to wear my badge during the entire conference?

A: Yes, badges must be worn during the entire event, including meal functions and evening social activities, so that you can be readily identified as an attendee of the conference.

Q: May I bring a guest? What functions are guests allowed to attend?

A: Unfortunately spouses or guests are not permitted to attend any sessions, social events, or meal functions.

A: Business casual attire is appropriate for event sessions. For evening activities, casual attire is appropriate.

Q: Do I have to pay for my own travel and accommodations?

A: Yes, you are responsible for paying for your transportation to the event and for your hotel accommodations.

Q: Are free shuttle buses available to the hotel from the airport?

A: No, there is no transfer arrangement.

Q: What types of transportation are available from the airport to the The Mulia – Nusa Dua, Bali, and how much does it cost?

A: Taxi services are available. A one-way taxi fare between Ngurah Rai International Airport to The Mulia – Nusa Dua, costs approximately USD 15 respectively.

Q: How long does it take to get to/from the airport?

Your hotel reservations must be booked through the hotel reservations link provided in the Cisco Data Center Partner Connection registration system to enjoy the special group rates. (Special note: Room rates quoted in this link are in USD. For payment using credit card, room rate will be converted to IDR based on hotel's rate of exchange on day of payment subjected to currency fluctuation.)

The room rate for Cisco Data Center Partner Connection attendees at the THE MULIA – NUSA DUA, BALI is USD215nett for single/ double occupancy on a nightly basis and only applicable from November 12 – 23, 2015.

Hotel cancellation policy: Do note that a full non-refundable payment will be charged to your credit card from October 21 onwards. Charges will be levied for any cancellation made after October 21, 2015. In the event that you fail to arrive at the hotel or cancel the booking after October 21, a cancellation charge equivalent to the entire stay of the room will be charged to your credit card. No refund and replacement is permitted.
