Marcela joined Cisco’s Advanced Services APJ team in 2015 as a solutions Architect and she has since worked on multiple Orchestration and Automation projects in the region. This includes the deployment of Cisco’s Virtualised Managed Services platform (vMS), which provides an SDN/NFV platform that revolutionises the way of delivering and managing enterprise networks. Marcela also worked with Telstra as the lead architect for the delivery of the SDN framework for the RDN Disaster Recovery project using Cisco NSO and WAE. Marcela has more than 12 years’ experience delivering OSS and Orchestration projects for service providers and she holds a Bachelor on Systems Engineering and a Masters in Computer Sciences.

Rajesh Chainani, Director of APJ GSP Data Centre, Virtualisation & Cloud at Cisco, is responsible for growing the company's Data Centre Virtualisation portfolio in Service/Cloud Providers, while helping customers achieve positive business outcomes through Cisco's data centre technologies and services in 3 market strategies: SP-IT, Hybrid Cloud Services and Telco Cloud for NFV. Cisco's data centre portfolio includes servers, SDN programmable networks, management and automation, software defined storage, and application networking.

Chris Dedicoat

As EVP for Worldwide Sales and Field Operations for Cisco, Chris Dedicoat is responsible for sales, operations, growth initiatives, and investments in strategic alliances across the globe. With 20 years of leadership experience at Cisco, Chris has deep expertise in building strategic customer relationships, and his passion for customer success is the foundation of the culture for the Sales organisation.

Chris sponsors a number of global initiatives geared towards helping customers drive to digitisation and achieve higher levels of innovation and productivity through technology. In addition to being a frequent speaker at industry and government events, he engages with key business and political leaders by advising them on transformational agendas to turn major economic and societal challenges into opportunities.

Tom Fisher

Tom Fisher has worked extensively in the Internet of Things (IoT) sector for 8+ years and has experience working with companies across a broad range of verticals as they make the transformation into IoT service businesses. As Managing Director – ANZ at Cisco Jasper, Tom supports Jasper’s Australian and New Zealand based mobile operator partners and ensures that their enterprise customers are able to seamlessly launch, manage and monetize their IoT businesses on the Control Center platform. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Telecommunications) and an MBA.

Michael Glickman

Michael Glickman
Senior Vice President, Americas Mobility/Telco and Worldwide Service Providers Channel, Cisco

Michael Glickman is Senior Vice President in the Global Service Provider segment. He leads Cisco’s overall relationship, investment, and growth strategy for the Telco and Mobility industries in the Americas, as well as leads Cisco’s Cloud & Managed Service Creation and Channels worldwide.

Glickman plays a critical role in defining and leading strategy for Cisco’s overall service provider business. He is responsible for aligning the collective resources of the company to deliver a transformational experience to customers in this strategic market with several billions of dollars in annual product and services revenue.

During Glickman’s 17 years at Cisco, he has held a variety of leadership roles in sales. Prior to his current role, he led the relationship with the Web Scale, U.S. Telecommunications companies, Wireline Emerging Providers, and US Cable MSO’s including managing overall customer relationships, Core Networks, Customer-Premises Equipment, and Services businesses.

Glickman has over 25 years of experience in the technology marketplace which included responsibilities in sales, marketing, and finance. He came to Cisco from Amdahl Corporation (Fujitsu America) where he was Vice President and General Manager for Northeastern Operations, with profit-and-loss responsibility for all operations in that region.

Outside of Cisco, Glickman serves on several industry Boards including USTA and TIA, and serves on the Executive Board of Junior Achievement in New Jersey.

Glickman holds a master of business administration degree in finance from the University of Illinois.

Vish Iyer

Vish Iyer
Managing Director of SP Routing Solutions, Cisco, Asia Pacific and Japan

Vish Iyer is Cisco's Managing Director, Global Service Provider business responsible for driving SP Infrastructure business in the APJ theatre. Vish and his team are directly responsible for driving sales top-line, bottom-line, business outcomes with customers and partners for the SP Infrastructure Business in the Asiapac & Japan.

Vish, in his current role, leads a cross-functional team of Business development, technology specialist, and engineering team in each theatre, whose charter is to transform the Mobile Broadband, hFixed Broadband, Digital, Web and OTT players in Developed and Emerging markets.

Vish has over 24 years of experience in working closely with all the major telecom and cable operators in APAC – incubating, executing and monetizing large infrastructure build-outs in the areas of Mobility, Video, Broadband, Cloud and Contact centres.

Vish has worked in a variety of roles in Cisco India from System Engineering, Account Manager to Regional Manager to Country Manager from 1998 to 2011. Vish moved to Singapore in early 2011 and lead the Architecture for SP Routing and SP Video business in Asiapac and Japan. Vish and team have grown the SP Video and SP Routing business consistently over the last few years from a topline, bottom-line and market-share perspective. Vish is passionate about building high performance teams, nurturing strong executive relationship’s and delivering business results for Customers, Partners and Cisco.

Prior to joining Cisco in 1998, Vish Iyer used to work for HCL Comnet for 5 years as a founding member and was the regional lead for the system integration business in West/South of India.

Vish Iyer passed from IIT BHU in 1992 after doing his Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering.

Fredrik Lundberg

Fredrik Lundberg
Senior Director for Strategy and Planning for NSO and Tail-F, Cisco

Fredrik Lundberg joined Cisco in 2014 with the acquisition of Tail-f Systems, where he was the CEO. Today Mr. Lundberg is responsible for the engineering team behind Cisco Network Services Orchestrator enabled by Tail-f, ConfD and Cisco Elastic Services Controller. The portfolio developed by Mr. Lundberg and his team focuses on extreme model-driven network programmability software. These products enable automation of service lifecycle management in complex multi-vendor networks, with both physical and virtual network functions.

Prior to joining Cisco, Lundberg held a number of senior positions in professional services companies serving Service Providers. Lundberg holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Linkoping Institute of Technology in Sweden.

Andrew Mackay

Andrew Mackay
Head of Mobile Solutions, Cisco, Asia Pacific and Japan

Andrew leads the Mobile Solution group for Cisco in the APAC region. In his role he supports mobile service providers to develop the optimal network architecture for their business requirements. He works closely with the Cisco product development and standards groups as a thought leader on mobile technology strategy in the Asia-Pacific region.

For more than fifteen years he has worked in the areas of network engineering, operations, and strategy through four generations of mobile technology. Prior to joining Cisco Andrew worked for Alcatel-Lucent as the Wireless Technology and Strategy Director for APAC and before that for Philips Test & Measurement. He holds a first class honours degree in electrical and electronic engineering from Canterbury University, New Zealand and a post-graduate diploma in Business Administration.

Mac Plymale

Mac Plymale
Managing Director, Global Security, Service Provider, Cisco

A 28 year technology industry executive, Mac has been with Cisco for 20+ years. He has held multiple leadership positions in Cisco’s Global Service Provider organisation supporting Mobility, Cable, Media-Satellite Video, Carrier, and Web/Cloud technologies. Mac has consistently built high performing global teams around emerging technologies in all facets of the Service Provider market.

In Mac’s current role as Managing Director for Global Security, he supports Cisco’s Service Provider business with his team of Security professionals, product specialist and consulting engineers based around the globe.

The Global Security Sales organisation supports multiple lines of business within Cisco’s Security Business Group. Network security (NGFW), Policy and Access, Advance Threat, Email and Web Security, as well Security Consulting Services. His prior responsibilities within Cisco have included Area Director for Cisco’s Service Provider consulting group, and Regional Manager for the IXC and Mobility lines of business.

Prior to joining Cisco, Mac held multiple management positions at Sprint Communications and the US Coast Guard in both Data Sales and Communication Engineering.

Mac attended the University of South Florida and the USCG where he holds multiple technical certifications in Engineering, Security and Communication technologies as well as a Top Secret Clearance.

Mac currently resides in Overland Park, KS and Edwards, CO where he is vastly outnumbered by his wife Cassie and their four Daughters: Ellie (Colorado University at Boulder), Katie (Brown University), Carli (New College of Florida) and Caleigh (H.S.Senior). The family is passionate about and all things outdoors: Snow Skiing, Swimming, Soccer, Hiking, Mountain Biking, Hunting and Fishing top the very long list of activities.

Clayton Pyne

Clayton Pyne
Director, Cloud and Service Provider Channels, Cisco, Asia Pacific and Japan

Clayton Pyne is Director in charge of Cisco’s Cloud and Service Provider Channel business across Asia Pacific and Japan. In this role he is responsible for strategy, sales, channel and business development for Service Providers that create the foundation of Cisco’s global cloud platform. This responsibility includes SDN, NFV, Managed Services, Security, IoT and SaaS.

Clayton recently joined Cisco, having previously lived and held executive positions with IBM on two continents. He began his career at IBM in Sydney as a product manager for the Global Technology Services business and held several business development and sales roles spanning IBM’s infrastructure services business, across both Enterprise and SMB, throughout the Asia Pac region.

After returning the company’s End User Services and Mobility business to double-digit growth and leading the integration of two key acquisitions for IBM in the A/NZ region, an offer from IBM to move to New York City brought Clayton global marketing leadership posts. Appointed as Director of IBM’s Smarter Commerce (eCommerce and Digital Marketing) software partner ecosystem, he managed business development, technical integration, sales and marketing across channel partners, ISVs, digital agencies, & developers – a $200M revenue segment. This position had Clayton living at the apex of IBM’s shift to the cloud and pivot to the CMO as a new-buyer of technology.

Clayton was a Co-op Scholar at UNSW where he earned a Bachelor of Science with first class honours in Business Information Technology. He also holds an EMBA from NYU Stern School of Business.

Jeff Reed

Jeff Reed
Senior Vice President, Enterprise Networks, Cisco

Jeff Reed is responsible for the business development strategy of Cisco’s Enterprise Networking business – a product portfolio spanning campus and branch environments. His focus is on evolving the network to deliver simplicity and automation, security and world class user experiences through the Cisco Digital Network Architecture (DNA).

Previously, Reed led product strategy, product management, and go-to-market activities for Cisco’s Enterprise Infrastructure and Solutions Group (EISG). Prior to that, Reed had responsibility for the company’s SDN solutions and architectures for enterprise customers. Additionally he was General Manager for Cisco’s largest switching business unit, the Unified Access Group.

Prior to joining Cisco, Reed held a number of senior positions in large-scale enterprise software businesses, covering storage product development, alliances, and business development. He also served as president and cofounder of an e-commerce start-up venture.

Reed holds a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering (with distinction) and a master’s degree in business administration, both from Stanford University.

Simon Rizkallah

Simon Rizkallah
Director for SP Video Solutions, Cisco, Asia Pacific and Japan

Simon Rizkallah has more than 18 years of international experience in the telecommunication industry with extensive knowledge in design, construction, optimisation and operation of telecom networks, combined with a strong financial background. Simon is the Head of Video Software and Solutions in APJ and is responsible for sales and engineering for all cloud and virtualised video technologies comprising of encoders, content delivery, data analytics and unified customer interfaces.

Prior to Cisco Simon was at Alcatel-Lucent where he held roles as Director of Solutions for Mobile Backhaul and Converged Backbone across Asia Pacific focused on tier 1 operators and Director of Business Development in ANZ Tier 2 & 3 service providers for IP products. Prior to Alcatel-Lucent, Simon worked for a start-up service provider Uecomm – Nation Wide Ethernet business services provider, where he held lead roles in Network Architecture, Network Operations and Complex Solution Engineering.

Simon has an Executive MBA, Masters in Data Communications and a Bachelors of Telecommunications Engineering from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Australia.

Chia Tan

Chia Tan
Chief Technology Officer - Service Provider, Cisco, Asia Pacific and Japan

Chia has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He is currently the leader for Cisco’s Asia Pacific Japan, Service Provider, Sales Engineering Organisation

Chia and his team work with major Telcos, OTT, Media, Cloud providers in the region. Examples of his focus includes:

  • Network Strategy and Solutions e.g. Cost Optimisation and Revenue Growth
  • Technical consulting, design and delivery of Network, systems and Solutions
  • Operator Transformation adopting agile service delivery, innovation, realising business benefits

Chia and his team are currently working across Architecture Transitions in the area of SDN-NFV and Cloud for both Fixed and Mobile. He and his team represent Cisco in the Industry Forum and Standards Body such as ETSI, IETF, TMForum. He has also presented in Industry Events including Carrier Ethernet APAC, NFV-SDN Asia, CommsDay Summit and SDN Forum

Prior to his current role, he was a Senior Solutions Architect for in ANZ then to APAC. His experience have seen him work across the various Architecture and Market transitions such as Deregulation of Access, Competition for the last mile, introduction of LTE, VoIMS, WiFi, FTTx, Broadband initiatives and transformation towards 5G

Chia graduated with Degrees in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics & Computing Science and has a Master in Business Technology.

Richard Wade

Richard Wade
Technology Architect, APJC Service Provider CTO Group, Cisco, Asia Pacific, Japan and Greater China

Dr. Richard Wade holds a BSc and Doctorate in Computer Science in addition to over fifteen years’ of telecommunications industry experience. He has worked in the field of network and systems architecture for telecommunications providers and equipment vendors across the UK and Asia Pacific region, and is currently based in Singapore.

Richard’s areas of interest range from Service Provider Enterprise Architecture, technology and business strategy, to operational support systems including software defined networking, and fixed, mobile, and datacentre network and systems architectures. He currently leads the Cisco Service Provider Infrastructure Programmability team for Cisco in Asia-Pacific and Japan, specialising in network automation, programmability, telemetry, and analytics.

Doug Webster

Doug Webster
Vice President, Service Provider Marketing, Cisco

Doug Webster is the Vice President of Global Marketing and Corporate Communications for Cisco Systems. In that capacity, he has go-to-market responsibilities for overall thought leadership, messaging, launch, content, and program development on the company’s service provider strategy and priorities, as well as oversight of the service provider routing and mobility solutions teams.

The highly regarded Cisco Visual Networking Index forecasts are developed under Doug’s guidance. His team also works with a number of teams throughout Cisco on the delivery of the content through a wide range of vehicles including customer, press, analyst, investor, event, web, social media, and internal communications.

Before joining Cisco Systems, Doug was an initial employee and Director of Communications at WheelGroup Corporation, a network security startup acquired by Cisco in 1998.

Doug graduated from Yale University with a degree in economics, and has served four years as a decorated officer in the US Air Force and in an elected position on the Board of Directors of one of the largest credit unions in the United States.

He lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife, two sons and daughter.
