Jason Frazier

Jason is an Architect in the Enterprise Technology and Solutions Group at Cisco. Jason has deep knowledge of networking technologies, including programmability, campus/data centre network architecture and identity.

Prior to his current role, Jason served as a Senior DevOps Manager for Cisco Cloud Services. He led a large team, building and operating cloud infrastructure for Cisco clients. This required deploying new services, creating operational efficiencies and overseeing the stability of the production network. In this role, Jason became a Cisco DevOps champion, hosting internal events, mentoring and helping others.

Before Cloud, Jason served as a TME Manager in the Core Software Group at Cisco. There, he led an accomplished team of TMEs focused on network-based software (software-defined networking, programmability, identity-based networking, application velocity and control, network infrastructure security). In this role, Jason worked cross-functionally, developing a strategic relationship with key leaders from the Enterprise sales force to strategize and design virtual-team events.

As a TME, Jason has focused on campus LAN/design, enterprise WAN, L2 security, identity-based networking, and device-level APIs/agents. Jason is a holder of nine patents, currently. For Cisco Live, Jason is a veteran speaker alum, hackathon coordinator, blogger, booth orchestrator, or anything called for. Jason is also an author of two Cisco Press books.

Jason joined Cisco in 1999. He is known throughout Cisco for his work ethic, passion, loyalty and drive. Jason has been happily married to his wife, Christy, for 15 years. Their oldest son, Davis (10), is Jason's best buddy. Jason is also wrapped around the finger of their daughter, Sidney (8). Jason is based in RTP, NC. Most non-work time is spent doing something with/for the kids. The Family likes to travel when they can, and Jason likes to spend time on a bike or other form of cardio when possible. As a Computer Engineering graduate of NC State University, Jason and his family enjoy Wolfpack sporting events as well.

Jerome Henry

Jerome Henry is technical leader in the Enterprise Infrastructure and Solutions Group at Cisco. Jerome has close to 15 years experience teaching technical Cisco courses in more than 15 different countries and 4 different languages, to audiences ranging from Bachelor degree students to networking professionals and Cisco internal system engineers.

Focusing on his wireless experience, Jerome joined Cisco in 2012. Before that time, he was consulting and teaching Heterogeneous Networks and Wireless Integration with the European Airespace team, which was later acquired by Cisco to become their main wireless solution. He then spent several years with a Cisco Learning partner, developing wireless courses, and working on training material for new wireless technologies. He is certified wireless networking expert (CWNE #45), CCIE Wireless (#24750), CCNP Wireless, developed several Cisco courses focusing on wireless topics (IUWNE, IUWMS, IUWVN, CUWSS, IAUWS, LBS, CWMN lab guide, etc.) and authored several Wireless books and video courses (IUWMS, CUWSS, Wi-Fi Troubleshooting, etc.). Jerome is also an IEEE 802.11 group member, where he was elevated to the grade of Senior Member in 2013, and also participates to Wi-Fi Alliance working groups. With more than 10000 hours in the classroom, Jerome was awarded the IT Training Award best Instructor silver medal. He is based in RTP, NC.

Peter Jones

Peter is a Principal Engineer with the Enterprise Campus Switching Software team at Cisco and has been with Cisco for 9 years.

Peter is currently driving the public push for standardisation of 2.5 Gb/s and 5 Gb/s Ethernet rates in campus access as the chair of the NBASE-T alliance (http://www.nbaset.org). Peter is heavily involved in the associated IEEE 802.3 project -802.3bz 2.5/5GBASE-T Task Force. Peter successfully co-led the "Call For Interest" (aka CFI) in November 14, helped get to "Task Force" in March 15 and acts as Task Force Architecture Ad Hoc Chair. Peter is also involved in other IEEE 802.1 (TSN) and 802.3 (preemption/25GE) standards work.

Most of Peters' time at Cisco has been spent in and around the Catalyst 3850/3650 and WLC 5760 platforms. Peter is one of the key system architects (ASIC, HW, SW) for that very successful family of platforms, which really moved the needle on intelligent access layers for the campus and Converged Access.

Mark Montanez

MARK MONTANEZ
Mark is a Principal Engineer working out of the Office of the CTO, Corporate Consulting Engineering Team. He is a subject matter expert in enterprise network architecture focusing on campus networks and high availability.

In Corporate Consulting Engineering Mr. Montanez works cross organisationally to enhance the deployability of Cisco equipment in enterprise network scenarios collaborating with the field, customers, and Cisco internally, to improve enterprise network solutions.

Mark has presented at Networkers worldwide (Australia, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Chile, China, South Africa, Europe, and the US) on many different topics. Mark currently develops and presents the Multilayer Campus Architectures and Design Principals breakout session.

Prior to his work in Corporate Consulting Engineering Mr. Montanez was a Technical Leader in the Enterprise Solutions Engineering (ESE) Campus Design group. In this capacity he led the development of the Business Ready Campus Integrated Security Solution. Additionally, Mark led the developed effort for the ESE Enterprise Campus High Availability Solution authoring the High Availability Enterprise Campus Design Guide.

Mr. Montanez holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems from the University of Phoenix. He is pursuing a Masters of Science degree in Computer Information Technology from Regis University in Denver Colorado.

Mark has been a Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE #8798) in Routing and Switching since February of 2002 (13 years).

Adam Radford

Adam has spent the last 27 years in the Computer Networking industry in a variety of roles, from research, implementation, design and architecture.

For the last 17 years he has been with Cisco in a variety of engineering, technology and architectural roles. He was recently appointed Distinguished Systems Engineer.

In his current role, Adam works with Cisco's largest customers across the APJC region on their technology strategy and direction. Adam has a breadth and depth of technology interests and enjoys staying abreast of latest technology trends and their business implications. Adam leads Cisco's SDN strategy across APJ.

Adam is no stranger to public presentations, having presented at many Cisco and industry events for the past 15 years.

In his limited spare time, Adam enjoys both coaching and participating in triathlons.

Tim Szigeti

Tim Szigeti, CCIE#9794, is the Lead AVC/QoS/SDN Architect in the Enterprise Infrastructure and Solutions Group at Cisco Systems. He is a subject matter expert in Quality of Service in enterprise network architectures. Tim's most recent focus is Cisco's comprehensive SDN QoS architecture. In this role, he collaborates with customers, the field, engineering, Cisco IT and third-party technology partners. Tim has recently earned induction into Cisco's Distinguished Speaker Hall of Fame. Additionally, Tim has authored 4 generations of Cisco QoS Design Guides, 3 Cisco Press book and an IETF internet draft. Outside of Cisco, his passion is on-track sports/performance driving; however, you may at times find him (safely) taking corners at high speeds on the spectacular Sea-to-Sky highway between his hometown of Vancouver and Whistler, BC.

Dave West

Dave West is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and the Vice President for Enterprise Networking Sales at Cisco Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ). He is a fifteen-year Cisco veteran with deep experience across engineering, solutions and sales. With a strong vision and understanding of the market transitions, Dave West is also one of the greatest advocates of Cisco's networking business and technologies in the region.

Previously, Dave West was the CTO for Cisco's Worldwide Partner Organisation, where he was responsible for working with partners to enable technical excellence in the partner technical community.
Dave has held a variety of other positions at Cisco, including: Sr. Director, Public Sector Systems Engineering and Architectures leading the systems engineers and managers supporting Federal, State and Local Government, Education; Director, Centre of Excellence for Public Sector Solutions; Senior Manager, Systems Engineering, Department of Defence and Intelligence; Senior Manager, Advanced Technologies, responsible for voice, security, optical, and wireless engineering and pre sales support for federal customers and partners.

Dave is a former Marine Officer, graduated from the Virginia Military Institute. He holds an MS in Information Systems from the Naval Postgraduate School.

Dave is a Distinguished Systems Engineer with Cisco Systems, based in Canada, and has been with Cisco for over 16 years. Dave works primarily with large, high-performance Enterprise network architectures, designs, and systems. Dave has over 22 years of experience with designing, implementing, and supporting highly available network systems and solutions that have included many diverse network technologies and capabilities, using multiple different topologies. Dave maintains a CCIE certification in Routing and Switching (13 years and counting!).
