A: We will send you an email confirmation within 24 hours.

A: We will send you an email confirmation within 24 hours .

Q: When will I receive confirmation of my registration?
A: No, substitutions are not allowed. This event is an invitation-only event. A substitute has to be submitted for consideration through your Cisco account manager. If approved, a personal invitation will be sent to the substitute requesting him or her to register for the event.

Q: May I register on behalf of another person?
A: No, registration on behalf of another person is not allowed.

Q: Do I need to wear my badge during the entire conference?
A: Yes, badges must be worn during the entire event, including meal functions and evening social activities, so that you can be readily identified as an attendee of the event.

Q: May I bring a guest? What functions are guests allowed to attend?
A: Unfortunately spouses of guests are not permitted to attend any sessions, social events, or meal functions.

Q: What should I wear to the Cisco APJC Collaboration Connection?
A: Business casual attire is appropriate for event sessions. For evening activities, casual attire is appropriate.

Q: What language is spoken?
A: The official language for all sessions will be presented in English.

Q: Will wireless be available at the event?
A: Yes, wireless connectivity is available at Cisco Executive Briefing Center.

Q: Do I have to pay for my own travel and accommodation?
A: No, Cisco will cover economy air fare from your city of residence, up to 4 nights’ accommodation (including Wi-Fi and daily American Breakfast) at the Sheraton San Jose Hotel and 2 way airport transfers (from San Francisco Airport to Hotel & Hotel to San Francisco Airport).
However, any accommodation extensions and incidentals will not be covered by Cisco.

Q: What are the passport/visa requirements?
A: Your local travel agency should be able to advise you on the need for visa requirements. To request for a business invitation letter, please drop us anemail

Q: Who requires a Visa?
A: Click here to download the list of countries nationals that may be required to apply for Tourist Visa.

Q: Application / Document Requirements for Visa
A: You will require:

  • Valid passport (must be valid for at least 6 months beyond date of entry/visa issue)
  • Photocopy of your itinerary issued by your travel agency, pre-paid airplane (flight) or bus ticket to exit Costa Rica.
  • In addition, if a visa is required, the following must be provided:
    • Completed Visa Application Form
    • One color passport sized photograph (2 in. X 2 in.)
    • Evidence of sufficient funds for stay
    • Proof of purpose of visit
    • Additional documents may be required at the Consulate’s own discretion.
  • Q: How to apply for a Non-Immigrant Visa
    A: Fill out the online Nonimmigrant Visa Application Form (DS-160) and print only the “Confirmation Page.â€? Bring the confirmation page with the bar code to your visa interview. It is not necessary to bring a complete printed application form. If your DS-160 does not provide complete and accurate information, we will not be able to process the application. You will be required to update or correct your DS-160 and return at a later time to finish the application process.

    Q: Will airport transfer be provided?
    A:Two way airport transfers will be provided (From San Francisco Airport to Sheraton San Jose Hotel & from Sheraton San Jose Hotel to San Francisco Airport). Kindly note that any detour is not permitted.

    Q: If I am unable to attend, would there be any penalty charges?
    A:100% Charges will be levied for any cancellation made after 20 June 2014. In the event that you fail to arrive at the hotel or cancel the booking after 20 June 2014 a cancellation charge equivalent to the entire stay of the room will be charged to your credit card. No refund is permitted.

    Q: If I am unable to attend, would there be any penalty charges?
    A:100% Charges will be levied for any cancellation made after 20 June 2014. In the event that you fail to arrive at the hotel or cancel the booking after 20 June 2014 a cancellation charge equivalent to the entire stay of the room will be charged to your credit card. No refund is permitted.

    Q: Do I need to give a credit card upon check-in?
    A: Yes, a credit card is needed upon check in from the hotel in case of any incidentals incurred.

    Q: What are check-in and check-out times at the hotel?
    A: Check-in time for the hotel is 3 p.m. Early check-in is on a request basis only and cannot be guaranteed. Check-out is by 11 a.m. Late check-outs are also on a request basis only and need to be arranged through the front desk.
