Nalinikanth Gollagunta (Nal) leads the Commercial Sales segment for Cisco in India and SAARC. As the leader for this high growth segment, he is responsible for all businesses under Commercial segment; driven by Cisco's industry leading partner network including mid-market and SMB segments. His group is also responsible for Cisco's geo coverage expansion plans leveraging partner capabilities across various geographies.
In his previous role, Nal led the business development function for Cisco - India & SAARC. As part of this role, he led various market-making and transformational initiatives such as Internet of Things across BFSI, Manufacturing as well as Public Sector and Defence. Prior to this role, Nal was the Head of Strategy and Planning for Cisco - India & SAARC.
Before Cisco, Nal was an Associate Principal with McKinsey and was a leader of the Technology, Media and Telecom practice in Asia-Pacific. In that capacity, he has advised CXOs of major telecom, electronics and IT services players across US, India and Singapore on topics like Digital Consumer, Services transformation and Enterprise Cloud. He holds an MBA from Cornell University and BTech in Electrical Engineering from IIT-Madras.
