Andrew is a Business Solutions Architect in Cisco’s Industry Solutions Group, responsible for providing solutions for the operational technology side of the enterprise. He plays a key role in shaping and implementing Cisco’s strategy for developing an end to end information technology solutions into the Transport and Smart City Sectors. He advises Cisco teams, customers and in crafting and delivering business value, solution architecture, integration and business process change.

Andrew has 20 years of experience in Energy, Transport and IT industries. He has deep knowledge of operational technologies in these sectors, including advanced control centre applications, integration of distributed resources, market operations, enterprise software, and enterprise application integration architecture. He has extensive experience in working with in different capacities, e.g. as a technology provider and as a trusted advisor.

More recently Andrew has been focusing on an architectural approach to Business Digital Transformation, how can the transportation sector unlock the power of data to create more insight and more value?

Andrew has a global leadership role and pronominally services the Asia Pacific market, aligning industrial networking requirements to tangible, robust telecommunications solutions that allow customers to achieve their business outcomes.

Simon is a 24 year veteran of the Information Security Industry. He is based in Sydney, Australia, and is a Cybersecurity expert working in Cisco’s Security and Trust Organisation (STO), whose mission is to ensure Cisco meets its security and privacy obligations to our customers, regulators, employees, and other stakeholders.

Simon’s role over the past 4 years has been focusing across critical infrastructure globally, engaging across a wide range of industry verticals that fall under this classification, including Transportation, Healthcare, Energy and Water utilities. A multi-level focus includes engaging in cyber strategy and regulation, all the way down to embedding security and trust in solutions. Simon engages globally and seeks to provide relevant insights locally. Over his long tenure in Cybersecurity, he has played many roles and been involved in most areas of the industry, experience which allows him to draw on strong technical expertise to address complex business problems.

When not being a cyber-nerd, Simon is often found sailing or enjoying things that go fast.

Kevin is a Technical Marketing Engineer in Cisco’s IoT Business Unit, currently covering Cisco’s LoRaWAN products and Industrial Asset Vision. Kevin plays a key role in helping Cisco’s customers and partners implement IoT technology and also helps to define internal product requirements based on customer needs.

Kevin has over 20 years of experience, 17 of which have been at Cisco. Throughout this time, he has worked on many different IoT-related technologies, such as rugged hardware design, embedded routers/switches, video products, networking of trains and Public Safety vehicles, automotive in-vehicle networking, and most recently LoRaWAN.

Kevin is located on the East Coast of the United States and assists customers and partners around the globe.

Fabrizio has 14+ years of experience in networking of which 8 have been focused in the OT domain. He has been at Cisco for the last seven and a half years focusing his technical experience in IoT across EMEAR and APJC, with key focus in Mining, Manufacturing, Utilities and Transportation.

He has extensive experience working with major mining companies in Australia as well as Oil and Gas companies in Europe.

Jason has 20+ years of industry experience having held positions as both a System Engineerand domain specialist CSE within Cisco and a number of partner ecosystem organisations.

Working in key verticals such as Transport, Coal, Mining and Utilities and focusing on technologies including Routing, Switching, and Wireless in the IT space as well as projects extending into the OT arena in areas such as point to point wireless, in-pit wireless and switching.

James Gilarte is a Product Specialist for Cisco's Catalyst Center and Catalyst 9000. He has over 15 years experience in the IT industry. Having been with Cisco for ten of those years, he has worked across many different industries and technologies from data center and cloud to enterprise networking, helping customers with the challenges they face so they can succeed for tomorrow.
