Companies to Strategically Collaborate To Offer Customers Enhanced and Differentiated Integrated Solutions
RIYADH, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia -- 12 April 2015: Cisco and the Saudi Telecom Company (STC) announced today that they have signed a joint Marketing and Sales Agreement to build a marketing, sales and business development taskforce to offer customers a differentiated set of integrated solutions that will deliver enhanced services.
The agreement was formalized at a meeting attended by STC Chairman Eng. Abdulaziz Alsugair, STC CEO Dr. Khaled Al Biyari and Cisco's Chairman and CEO, Mr. John Chambers at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona recently.
The agreement will cover five key focus areas to achieve joint growth and differentiation in the Saudi marketplace comprising Mega projects around Smart and Connected Cities (S+CC); Enterprise & Public Sector; Small and Medium Business; Cloud Services and an Innovation Hub to spearhead the latest technologies.
- By strategically collaborating on joint market activities, STC and Cisco should be able to offer customers a differentiated set of integrated solutions that will deliver enhanced services.
- The two companies plan to immediately work on a framework for building an Innovation Hub to co-develop and showcase latest state- of-the- art technologies.
