Company Accelerates Focus on Hiring and Developing Saudi Talent
Riyadh, SAUDI ARABIA November 30th 2014: As part of its continued strategy to invest in and develop local talent, Cisco has appointed Mr. Haytham Alohali as the new Public Sector Regional Manager for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Alohali started his journey with Cisco in 2006 as an Account Manager demonstrating exceptional talent and leadership with the handling of large accounts including King Saud University, King Faisal University, Dammam Universityand Ministry of Interior. Over the years, he has also has been recognized both internally within Cisco and externally for winning several industry awards as well as leading his teams in some substantial new business wins for Cisco in the Kingdom.
In his new role Alohali will oversee and drive Cisco’s focus within the Public Sector, which has been Cisco KSA’s cornerstone for business success over the past few years, representing a considerable portion of the company’s revenue in the region. He will also be responsible for growing and maintaining the already established key strategic partnerships with key government entities such as The Ministry of Justice, The Saudi National Guard, The Ministry of Higher Education, Royal Saudi Airforc and many more.

Prior to Cisco, Alohali held positions of Deputy General Manager for the ECDL Foundation in Saudi (2003-2006) where he helped setup the IT literacy program in Saudi achieving certificate accreditation by major regulating bodies in the Kingdom. He has also held the position of Systems Engineer at Motorola (2000-2003) supporting its regional offices and their Service provider customers.
Haytham holds an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Seattle in the US and currently lives in Riyadh with his wife and daughter.
