Integrating Cisco Applications with CiscoWorks2000 Management Connection (CMC)

Use Management Connection to add external application links to your CiscoWorks2000 navigation tree. This lets you access applications that you use with CiscoWorks2000 directly from the navigation tree.

To do this, you install a "connection," which contains a set of links to external application URLs and support information. The connection defines the folder and item names that appear in the Management Connection drawer after the file is installed.

Tip To quickly access Management Connection enter the CiscoWorks2000 server address (for example, http://your-cw2000-server:1741/). Then select Management Connection > Administration > Create. Click Help to review the detailed online help instructions. There is no need to download or install anything from CCO.

Use the online help to understand the following Connection Administration options:

Create and install a connection

Import and install a connection

Delete a connection

Export a connection

Modify a connection

Set the HTTP proxy
