Problem Description and Resolution
Enabling or disabling any Cisco Unity diagnostics via the Cisco Unity Diagnostic Tool (UDT) does not take affect until the service containing the component is restarted or Unity is rebooted.
This problem exists if the time zone of the machine running Cisco Unity does not observe day light savings time. This was shown to be true for at least two time zones - Indiana (east) and Arizona. Other time zones that do not observe day light savings would also be affected.
Cisco Unity Diagnostic Tool now properly accounts for time zone settings.
