The Meeting Preferences page displays the business rules that govern how your meetings are scheduled and run. Most of the information was set up by your system administrator when your account was created.

Cisco Unified MeetingPlace has several announcements that help govern your meeting. These announce when new participants join your meeting, when they leave your meeting, when the meeting is about to end, and when a meeting is extended. You can choose to modify these announcements or turn them off entirely.

You can also choose what users hear when they try to enter your meeting by phone.

Procedure


Step 1 Sign in to Cisco Unified MeetingPlace as a profiled user.

Step 2 Click Account.

Step 3 Click Meeting Preferences.

Step 4 Set the following:

Entry announcement

Exit announcement

End of meeting

Meeting extension

Meeting Entry Mode

Step 5 Click Submit.

Procedure


Step 1 Sign in to Cisco Unified MeetingPlace as a profiled user.

Step 2 Click Account.

Step 3 Click Meeting Preferences.

Step 4 Scroll down to the Meeting Security section and modify your settings.

Allow external web participants

Password Required

Who May Skip Password

Publicly Listed Meeting

Who Can Attend Meeting

Step 5 Scroll down to the Meeting Notes section.

Step 6 Choose an option for Who Can Access MeetingNotes to determine who can access attachments and recordings from your meetings.

Step 7 (Optional) Scroll down and choose Yes for Ask for Profile Password.

Step 8 Click Submit.
