Attendees in Different Time Zones See Incorrect Time in Notification for Recurring Meetings

Meeting Attachments and User Profiles

When a meeting is scheduled with attachments, users will receive the attachments in their e-mail notifications for the meeting even though the Include Attachments attribute in their user profiles is set to No (not to receive attachments with meeting notifications).

The Include Attachments attribute in user profiles is available on the MeetingTime Configure tab under Receiving Notifications.

Using Bug Toolkit

To access Bug Toolkit, you need an Internet connection, web browser, and Cisco.com user ID and password. For more detailed information on using Bug Toolkit, click Help in any Bug Toolkit window.

To Use Bug Toolkit

Step 1 Open your web browser and go to http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/Support/Bugtool/launch_bugtool.pl.

Step 2 Click the Launch Bug Toolkit link.

Step 3 To look for information about a specific caveat, enter the ID number in the Enter Known Bug ID field.

To view all caveats for a Cisco Unified MeetingPlace component, go to the "Search for Bugs in Other Cisco Software and Hardware Products" section, and enter meetingplace in the Product Name field.

Step 4 In the list, select Cisco Unified MeetingPlace, then click Next.

Step 5 On the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace search page, set options to limit your search results. You can choose any or all of the available options:

a. Choose the applicable Cisco Unified MeetingPlace version:

Choose the major version for the major releases. A major release contains significant new features, enhancements, architectural changes, and/or defect fixes.

Choose the revision for more specific information. A revision (maintenance) release primarily contains defect fixes to address specific problems, but it may also include new features or enhancements.

b. Choose the applicable features or components. Make your selection from the Available list and click Add to place your selection in the Limit Search To list.

c. Enter keywords for which to search caveat titles and descriptions.

Note To make queries less specific, use the All wildcard for the major version/revision, features/components, and keyword options.

Bug Severity—The default specifies severity levels 1 through 3.

Bug Status Group—Check the Fixed check box for resolved caveats.

Release Note Enclosure—The default specifies Valid Release Note Enclosure.

Step 6 Click Next. Bug Toolkit returns a list of caveats.

Note You can modify your results by submitting another query and using different criteria. You can also save your query for future use.

Documentation Updates

Omissions

This section lists new and additional information that is not included in the current Cisco Unified MeetingPlace for Microsoft Outlook documentation. The new and additional information will be incorporated in a future documentation release, or as otherwise noted.

Administration Guide for Cisco Unified MeetingPlace for Microsoft Outlook: About Using Delegates

The information in this section should be included in the "Using Cisco Unified MeetingPlace for Microsoft Outlook" chapter of the Administration Guide for Cisco Unified MeetingPlace for Microsoft Outlook. This information applies only if you use delegates to set up meetings.

About Using Delegates

Delegates can set up meetings on behalf of other users by using Cisco Unified MeetingPlace for Microsoft Outlook. Note the following considerations:

You must install the most recent version of Cisco Unified MeetingPlace for Microsoft Outlook to use delegates.

If delegates will use Cisco Unified MeetingPlace for Microsoft Outlook to schedule Cisco Unified MeetingPlace meetings on behalf of other users, then both the delegates and the users on whose behalf the delegates schedule meetings must have the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace for Microsoft Outlook client software installed.

The user who requests the meeting must have all personal information entered in Outlook on the Tools > Options > MeetingPlace tab. Otherwise, the settings for the delegate will appear when the user opens the meeting.

If the delegate changes his or her password after scheduling a meeting on behalf of a user, the following limitations apply:

The user cannot reschedule the meeting without entering the new delegate password. If the user does not enter the new password, the user can still attend the meeting.

The user cannot delete the meeting without entering the new delegate password.

The user cannot reschedule the meeting in the calendar by dragging and dropping the meeting.

If the password for the delegate has expired but has not yet been changed after scheduling a meeting on behalf of a user, the following limitations apply:

The user cannot reschedule the meeting in the calendar by dragging and dropping the meeting.

The user will be prompted to enter a new password when attempting to open the first meeting. The new password that the user enters will not be retained. The delegate must open a meeting and change the password to prevent this issue.

The user cannot reschedule the meeting. The user can still attend the meeting.

The user cannot delete the meeting.

Reservationless meetings will use the reservationless ID for the delegate. Only the delegate can bring the meeting to order.

Meetings that the delegate sets up will appear in the calendar in the language that the delegate is configured to use.

Administration Guide for Cisco Unified MeetingPlace for Microsoft Outlook: Integrated Windows Authentication

The information in this section should be added to the "Integrated Windows Authentication" section of the "Configuring and Managing Cisco Unified MeetingPlace for Microsoft Outlook" chapter of the Administration Guide for Cisco Unified MeetingPlace for Microsoft Outlook.

Administration Guide for Cisco Unified MeetingPlace for Microsoft Outlook: Notification Items

On page A-4, change [Internal CTA] to [InternalCTA]. The correct row should be as follows:

Name
Tag for Notifications for
Meetings That Are Scheduled
in Cisco Unified MeetingPlace
for Outlook (.rtf Files)
Tag for Notifications for Meetings
That Are Scheduled in Cisco Unified
MeetingPlace Web Conferencing or
MeetingTime (.tpl Files)
Description

This tag is not intended to have a label.

[InternalCTA]
