Overview

Cisco Jabber IM for iPhone delivers instant messaging (IM) and presence capabilities to your Apple iPhone, allowing you to stay connected while you're mobile. Cisco Jabber IM for iPhone gives you access to your corporate contact list and allows you to communicate using Click to IM, Click to Call, Click to Email, and Click to SMS all from a contact profile. The application also gives you the ability to start or join instant Cisco WebEx meetings when used in conjunction with the Cisco WebEx Meetings app. Other features of the application include:

  • Corporate directory search
  • Messaging security using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption
  • Direct connection to your existing Cisco messaging infrastructure through Cisco Unified Presence or Cisco WebEx Messenger

Cisco Jabber IM for iPhone supports Single Sign-On (SSO) infrastructures that use Cisco WebEx Messenger. Cisco Jabber IM for iPhone maps your corporate SSO configuration in the Cisco WebEx Messenger Administration Tool. Federated Single Sign-On uses the mobile browser to access your corporate Identity Management System (IDMS) page.
