Cisco Business Edition 6000 Quick Start Guide
Thank you for choosing Cisco Business Edition 6000. This guide describes how to install the server and prepare it for configuration. Detailed instructions on how to install the applications, configure the features, and connect the devices is provided online. See the Where to Go from Here section for details.
Before you unpack the server, verify that all of the following items are present. If any item is missing or appears to be damaged, contact your supplier immediately.
- Cisco UCS C220 M3 Server with installed hypervisor and preloaded application software
- Rack-mounting kit
- Power cord or cords – one power cord for the Medium-Density (MD) Server; two power cords for the High-Density (HD) Server
- KVM adaptor
- Ethernet cables (2)
- Console cable
- Cisco Virtualization Hypervisor license pack
- Cisco Video Communication Server license pack
Record and store the license keys from the Cisco Virtualization Hypervisor and the Cisco Video Communication Server license packs. You must have the license keys to activate the products.

Getting to Know the Cisco UCS C220 M3 Server
The components of the Cisco UCS C220 M3 Server front and rear panels in Figure 1 are highlighted in Table 1.
