Working with Your Conversation History

Viewing Your Conversation History

You can view the history of the following events:


  • Phone calls that you place or receive, including calls to your voice message service.

  • Phone calls that you miss.

  • Conference calls that you start or participate in.

Procedure
Select Shows the View Conversation History button. in the conversation pane.

Placing a Call from Your Conversation History

Procedure
Step 1   Select Shows the View Conversation History button. in the conversation pane.
Step 2   To place a call, double-click the entry in the conversation history.

Troubleshooting Tips

The number from which the call was received is dialed.

Sending Instant Messages from Your Conversation History

Procedure
Step 1   Select Shows the View Conversation History button. in the conversation pane.
Step 2   To send an instant message to a contact, right-click the contact, then select Send an Instant Message.

To start an instant message conversation with more than one contact, select the contacts, right-click the selected contacts, then choose Send an Instant Message.

You might need to select the instant message window before you start to type your message.


Starting Conference Calls from Your Conversation History

Procedure
Step 1   Select Shows the View Conversation History button. in the conversation pane.
Step 2   Do one of the following:
  • Select the contacts in the conversation history, right-click the selected contacts, then select Start a Conference.

  • Locate a conference call event in the conversation history, right-click the event, then select Place a Call.


Viewing Contact Cards from Your Conversation History

Procedure
Step 1   Select Shows the View Conversation History button. in the conversation pane.
Step 2   To view the contact card for a contact in your conversation history, right-click the contact then select View Contact Card.

Deleting Events from Your Conversation History

Procedure
Step 1   Select Shows the View Conversation History button. in the conversation pane.
Step 2   Select the event or events that you want to delete.
Step 3   Press the Delete key.
Step 4   (Optional) Select Delete on the confirmation dialog box.
