You change Connection DNS settings by using CLI commands. Table 15-1 lists the available options and the corresponding CLI commands.

For more information on the CLI commands, see the applicable Command Line Interface Reference Guide for Cisco Unified Communications Solutions at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6509/prod_maintenance_guides_list.html.

Caution When Connection is installed on a virtual machine, changing the primary DNS server changes the calculated value of the license MAC and invalidates the Connection license. For information on getting replacement Connection licenses, see the "Managing Licenses in Cisco Unity Connection 8.x" chapter of the System Administration Guide for Cisco Unity Connection at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/connection/8x/administration/guide/8xcucsagx.html.
