SIGTRAN/SS7:

SIGTRAN/SS7 Solution GuideDescribes various configurations and combinations of the Cisco BTS 10200 Softswitch and the Cisco ITP that are built on top of the basic Shared Point Code and Mated STP-Pair configurations.

Support for 30 OPCs – This feature provides the Cisco BTS 10200 Softswitch with the ability to support up to 30 origination point codes (OPCs). This feature is applicable when the SIGTRAN signaling gateway supports SUA and M3UA in a D link configuration, for example, the Cisco ITP. The 30 OPCs is supported for all subsystem numbers (SSNs). It applies only to the configuration of the TCAP SS7 communications that include SUA.

ISUP Transparency on the BTS-PGW Interface – This feature provides the capability to transfer Generic Transparency Descriptor (GTD) messages and information elements from a Cisco BTS 10200 Softswitch across an IP network to a Cisco PGW 2200. The PGW maps the GTD messages to ISUP messages, repackages them, and sends them out to the PSTN/SS7 network.

ISUP Message Counters – A list of counters applicable to specific ISUP Variants.

ISDN:

ISDN Provisioning and Troubleshooting Guide – Descriptions of ISDN functionality, ISDN provisioning options, and ISDN troubleshooting.

Admission Reject Cause Code Mapping – If the Cisco BTS 10200 Softswitch receives an admission reject (ARJ) when placing an H.323 call, the ARJ maps the cause code received from the H.323 gatekeeper to the standard ISDN cause code.

PacketCable:

PacketCable and Event Message Provisioning and Operations Guide – This document describes support for the PacketCable DQoS, event message (EM), and security features. It also provides provisioning procedures for these features, along with procedures for managing EM files (storing and transferring).

SIP:

SIP Protocol User Guide – Describes support for SIP devices (Cisco ATA 186/188 adaptors and Cisco IP phones) and SIP trunks.

Provisioning Secure FQDN of a SIP Endpoint – Enhanced SIP registration is designed to ensure that a SIP REGISTER message to the Cisco BTS 10200 Softswitch is from a provisioned endpoint. The feature also ensures that the source IP address and contact parameter for all originating calls are from the provisioned SIP endpoint, and that no calls can originate from an unregistered endpoint.

SIP Cause Code Mapping – Maps SIP response codes to standard cause codes.
