Quicktime streaming from an MCU/IP VCR through a firewall

How do I get streaming with QuickTime to work through a firewall on my Cisco TelePresence MCU/IP VCR?

For MCU streaming with QuickTime to work through firewalls, you need to open TCP port 554, which is used for control data, and UDP ports 6970-6999. If the latter range seems too big, you may be able to just open ports 6970-6973; these are the default ports used by the player, but this is insufficient if multiple instances are running, for example, to stream more than one conference to the same PC.
