III. Changes in this Version
=========================================================

1. The branding of the product is now IronPort instead of PostX.

2. The handling of SSL errors has been improved so that now in addition to being able to ignore domain name mismatches and expiration warnings, if a cert has an untrusted CA then the user will be shown a prompt and can choose to allow or disallow the connection.

3. The handling of keyserver error responses has been improved. In addition to showing appropriate error messages, some responses will now show a link that allows the user to correct the problem (e.g. registration or forgot password links).

4. Added several more configuration options to the xml file, such as registration URL and password expired URL. For details on configuration parameters please refer to the "IronPort Desktop Solution User's Manual".

5. The user can no longer use the AuthenticateSender property to circumvent the login process.

6. The Send Secure button now works with localized versions of Outlook.

7. The login dialog now appears as the focused window, even if Word is used as the editor.

8. The Account ID is now correctly read from the token instead of the XML file or keyserver response.

IV. Known Issues/Limitations
=========================================================

1. Using the GatewayEncrypt product, recipients in the CC list show up in the To List in the resulting secure email.
2. Secure Reply is disabled by DesktopEncrypt when sending an online envelope with a message sensitivity of 0.
3. For S/MIME support added to the plug-in there are two caveats:
(a) Sending S/MIME relies on the Encrypt and Sign buttons being shown on the Outlook toolbar.
(b) The splitting message feature is not yet supported when Microsoft Office Word is used to edit Messages.
4. For I18N support added to the plug-in, there is a limitation that causes foreign characters in the Subject to be replaced by question marks in the secure email.
5. With Outlook 2000, "Using Microsoft Word as Editor" is not supported by the plug-in. The product detects this combination and will give an appropriate warning message.
6. The algorithm used by DesktopEncrypt to encrypt Secure Reply parameters can only be configured for offline envelopes. For registered envelopes, ARC4 will always be used.
