This publication describes how to install the Catalyst 6500 series switch or Cisco 7600 series router Network Analysis Module (NAM) running NAM software release 4.0 and how to configure the NAM using the command-line interface (CLI) for the operating system supporting your NAM (Cisco IOS or the Catalyst operating system).

You can also use the NAM Traffic Analyzer application to configure the NAM. The traffic analyzer online help and user guide describe its use.
