Read Me First—LAN Management Solutions Bundle, October Update

The LAN Management Solutions (LMS) maintenance kit provides updates to applications.

Depending on which of the LMS applications you have previously installed, you can use different upgrade paths when installing the products in the bundle. If you are planning to install one of the LMS applications for the first time as part of this maintenance bundle, read the requirements for that component system carefully. If you are installing a previously uninstalled application, we recommend that you use the CD-ROM in this kit.

What the Bundle Contains

The LMS maintenance kit contains:

CiscoWorks2000 CD One Third Edition (CD One)—CiscoWorks2000 Server, CiscoView 5.2, and the Network Management Integration Module. The Network Management Integration Module provides support for third-party network management solutions.

Resource Management Essentials 3.2 (Essentials)—Web-enabled administration tool for simplifying the device software and configuration management of Cisco routers and switches.

Campus Manager 3.0.1 (Voice Update)—A collection of updated packages for voice feature support, new device support, and bug fixes.

Content Flow Monitor 1.1 (CFM)—Web-based performance monitoring application for managing Cisco server load-balancing devices.

TrafficDirector 5.8.1—RMON-based reporting tool for network traffic analysis.

Note In addition to the enclosed paper documents, PDF versions of product documentation are available on the product CDs. Refer to the installation instructions for individual products and print out the relevant documentation before proceeding with the installation.
