CSCsr38459

Single virtual interface is displayed twice in the port attributes list. It happens in case of virtual intefaces. For Cat2970 and IE 3000 category devices, single port is displayed twice in the port attributes list.

Table 3 lists the resolved problems in Campus Manager 5.0.4.

Table 3 Resolved Problems in Campus Manager 5.0.4

Bug ID
Summary

CSCsj89694

Path Analysis cannot determine ifIndex (-1) for L2 switches. For l2 switches, the source ifIndex is set to -1 in path because of which path failed to draw the l2 trace.

CSCsq74485

Sorting by Number in Port Attribute report is not working. The Port Number sorting is not working as expected and behaves like string sorting.

CSCsq56548

End hosts on Access Points are no longer acquired by default. Since there was a huge POLA violation in Campus Manager 5.0, and since WLSE integration was introduced, User Tracking no longer acquires end hosts on Access Points by default.

CSCsq72800

User Tracking no longer acquires End Hosts on AccessPoints. This is a companion bug to CSCsq56548. Setting APRunCollection to true in ut.properties does not help. End host acquisition does not work since the VmpsAdminSMFBridgeTable code is not updated for Campus 5.0.

CSCsr48379

Online Help should mention that Wireless Report will show only WLSE devices. User Tracking Wireless Report is showing only reports about the WLSE integration. This information must be documented.

CSCsj72047

Groups created in Common Services are not available in Campus Manager. After restarting the Daemon Manager, the User Defined Groups in Common Services are not available from Campus Manager. Membership details for the groups show empty results.

CSCso66536

While running Path Analysis, Ani.log file size grows to several Gigabytes. This happens when you have CM: 5.0.2 (LMS: 3.0.1) installed on Solaris.

CSCsq08600

Windows usernames are not displayed in User Tracking (UT). Depending on when UT acquisition is done and when an user actually connects to the network, UT may not properly display Windows usernames.

CSCsq79950

Campus Manager does not support VLANs greater than 1024 on 2950 series switches. It occurs for all 2950 series switches which are configured for extended VLANs (those with IDs greater than 1024). It leads to false trunk VLAN mismatch discrepancies and incomplete VLAN topology Data Collection.

CSCsq80237

User Tracking Export does not quote Port Name field. This becomes a problem when the Port Name field contain an embedded comma.

CSCsq88619

In LMS 3.0.1, when you navigate to Include Devices from DCR under Data Collection in Campus Manager, a HTTP500 error occurs. Also, after running a new Campus Data Collection, it gives the same error.

CSCsq26330

UTLite does not work with hostnames. If the CiscoWorks server is specified by an hostname, UTLite33.exe does not send any update.

CSCsr25957

In LMS 3.0 VTP Domain return as NULL. In LMS3.0, User Tracking is unable to find the VTP domain object using the VTP name. As a result, VLAN ID cannot be used for comparison. The available VLAN name is different and this results in CAM/ARP mismatch.

CSCsr11007

Scheduled User Tracking Report fails when you launch Report Generator under Reports in Campus User Tracking. Select an Application and schedule a report. It fails.

CSCso09676

UTLite is not mapping the IP to MAC. On Multi-home clients, UTLite33.exe does not map the IP address to the MAC address.

CSCsq21297

Field values are missed in User Tracking (UT) DEE data. The dot1xEnabled, associatedRouters, bestPracticeDeviationEnabled, and discrepancyEnabled are missed in UT DEE XML data. These fields are always empty. The fields used to contain valid data in CM 5.0 and 5.0.1.

CSCsl44916

Dynamic User Tracking produces incorrect last seen times. When Dynamic UT receives a MAC address notification trap, it calculates the last seen time stamp based on the sysUpTime of the device (stored in the portsData.xml file) and the time stamp within the trap PDU. This algorithm works, but can produce incorrect results due to clock skew on devices, sysUpTime roll-overs, and other device-side bugs.

CSCsk39917

Some error messages are not written in the debug log. Certain Dynamic UT errors (for example, UTLITE bad and duplicate packet errors) are written only in the circular buffer (that is, Dynamic UT Console) and not in their respective log files.

CSCsm48328

In Campus Manager UT report, Port Name is empty for Cat6500 and Cat2960. In the UT report of CM 5.0.1, the Port Names for Cat6500 (sysobjectid=iso.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.400) and for Cat2960 (sysobjectid=iso.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.696) are blank.

CSCso11905

The Switch Port Usage Report Unused Up report does not list the Port Name configured on the fast ethernet interfaces. This issue involves the following platforms: 3550, 3560, 3750, 4506, and 6513.

CSCso94546

After upgrading to Campus Manager 5.0, only LAN switches show up in the LAN Edge View.

CSCso73773

Field values are not displayed correctly in Device Attributes reports in Campus Manager. In Device Attributes report of CM502, the Device Name and IP Address field values are interchanged.
