Bias-Free Language

Introduction

This document demonstrates the procedure to properly copy and load the microcode for the point-to-multipoint (P2MP) system. Make a note of the default location for this microcode so that you can load it properly if placed elsewhere.

Prerequisites

Requirements

Cisco recommends that you have knowledge of these topics:

  • Wireless networks

  • Command-line usage

Ensure that you have privileged EXEC ("enabled") access on the router you want to examine.

Components Used

The information in this document is based on these software and hardware versions:

  • The uBR7223, uBR7246 and uBR7246VXR products

  • Any version of Cisco IOS® Software that supports Fixed Wireless P2MP

The information in this document was created from the devices in a specific lab environment. All of the devices used in this document started with a cleared (default) configuration. If your network is live, make sure that you understand the potential impact of any command.

Procedure

Here is a demonstration of the procedure to copy and load microcode. In order to perform this procedure, you must have privileged (or "enabled") access to the router.
