Introduction

This document describes the steps used in order to change the logging path for the Cisco Unified Attendant Console (CUAC) server.

Change the Logging Path in CUAC

You might be required to change the default logging location in the CUAC server in order to help maintain the disk space on the server installation drive. This is done through modification of registry keys in order to change the default logging.

Here are the registry keys that must be modified:

  • In order to modify Web Administration logging, navigate to this location for regedit:
    HKLM > Software > Arc Solutions >
Call connect >Web admin > Runtime logging
Edit this binary data information at the appropriate Microsoft (MS) Windows drive locations:

    • Logging File Name
    • Service Logging File Name

  • In order to modify the Server logs, navigate to this key:
    regedit > HKLM > SOFTWARE > Arc Solutions >
Call Connect > Server > Runtime Logging
Edit this binary data information at the appropriate MS Windows drive locations:

    • Logging File Name
    • Service Logging File Name

  • In order to modify the Operation logs, navigate to this location:
HKLM > SOFTWARE > Arc Solutions > Call Connect >
    Operator > Logging
Edit the General Log Location binary data information.

  • In order to modify the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) logs, navigate to this location:
HKLM > SOFTWARE > Arc Solutions > Call Connect >
LDAP Synchronize Server > Runtime Logging
Edit the Logging File Name binary data information.

  • After you modify the registry key, restart the CUAC server service.
