Q. How to enable Music On Hold on SPA942?

A.

In order to enable the Music on hold feature on SPA9XX IP phones, complete these steps:

Step 1:
Using an SPA IP phone, press the Setup button.

Step 2:
Go to Network (9) using the Navigation button.

Step 3:
Select Current IP (2) will show the IP address of the SPA941.

Step 4:
Open a browser, enter "http://spa_ip_phone_ip_address" on the address bar and press [Enter] or click Go. The web-based utility should open as this window illustrates:

Step 5:
Click Admin Login on the upper right and go to advanced. Additional tabs will appear as shown here:

Step 6:
Go to EXT 1 tab and under Call Feature Settings, look for MOH Server. Enter "imusic" on the field, and click submit all changes as shown here:
