Does the ESA have the equivalent of a "hosts" file?

On UNIX, Linux, and Windows, the "hosts" file is a local table that lists host names and their IP addresses on a network. On some small networks, the hosts file is used as an alternative to DNS. 

Hosts files cannot be used as an alternative to DNS with the ESA; however, there is a command that can be used to show a similar lookup table relevant to email routing. The ESA can be configured to redirect all email for a particular domain to a different mail exchange (MX) host. It is possible to view and configure these mappings from the AsyncOS CLI using the smtproutes  command:

mail3.example.com> smtproutes

- NEW - Create a new route.
- DELETE - Remove a route.
- PRINT - Display all routes.
- IMPORT - Import new routes from a file.
- EXPORT - Export all routes to a file.
- CLEAR - Remove all routes.
