  • CIP 22-29 for IOS 11.1, 11.2

Problem Description

Transparent 3270 datastreams from the host to a TN3270 client may cause the router to reload with a fatal error (code=32).

Modifications to buffer processing routines between CSNA and TN3270 to improve file-transfer performance to TN3270 clients was introduced by CSCdi62925 into CIP microcode 22.29. CSCdk04804 only affects routers with the CIP TN3270 feature.

Revert to previous CIP microcode version that does not contain this problem. Monitor bug CSCdk04084 for defect resolution and integration information.

When available, install the next microcode version which integrates resolution to CSCdk04084. If this code is unavailable on CCO, contact the TAC and obtain an interim level of CIP microcode.
