Manufacturing led Cisco to investigate a issue on the compact flash (CF) contained in WISM (WS-SVC-WISM-1-K9) controllers may contain a defect preventing access to the Compact Flash and could cause a boot failure following a power cycle or reload.

Further in-depth analysis, after the initial publication of the field notice, discovered the availability of the new corrected compact flash kit was not available with in the expected time frame. Field notice FN62602 has been withdrawn as a result of this analysis.
