Field Notice: MeetingPlace for Outlook User Encounters Errors When the MeetingPlace User ID Contains a Space

Problem Description

If the MeetingPlace user id contains a space you will encounter the following errors:

If MeetingPlace for Outlook prompts you for user id and password and you accidentally enter incorrect information, the following retry page displays garbled characters in the user id field.

Deleting a MeetingPlace meeting from Outlook fails.

Problem Symptoms

User is unable to delete MeetingPlace meetings using Outlook and may experience difficulty logging in.





This issue has been fixed in Cisco MeetingPlace Outlook Follow the installation instructions in the hot fix package. The hot fix package can be downloaded from:

Cisco MeetingPlace for Outlook Software Download (registered customers only) - in order to download from this location you must have a CCO login.

This fix is in setup.exe/upgrade.exe, so a client side upgrade is necessary.
