Cisco Unified MeetingPlace

Field Notice: MeetingPlace Server - Scheduling Recurring Meeting Generates Error of Not Enough Ports Available

May 17, 2004

Products Affected

Cisco MeetingPlace Server (PCI) Networked System

Version: 4.3.1a

Problem Description

When scheduling a recurring meeting with Cisco MeetingPlace Web, with "report conflicts" specified, an error of "not enough ports available" is reported. This is due to checking for ports availability in secondary servers, even though there are enough ports on the requested server.

Problem Symptoms

Meetings are not scheduled even when ports are available.

Do not select "report conflicts" when scheduling a meeting with the Cisco MeetingPlace Web interface.

A cs-db hot fix for 4.3.1g is available. Contact the Cisco MeetingPlace Technical Assistance Center to apply this hot fix.
