Field Notice: FA00282 Backend Notifications are Not Delivered

Problem Description

Note: This Field Notice is a legacy Latitude Field Notice that has been converted to the Cisco format so the information would remain available to their customers.

MeetingPlace for Outlooks takes up system resources and does not start functioning fully. Notifications are not delivered.

Problem Symptoms

The user does not receive any meeting notifications.


This issue has been fixed in MeetingPlace Outlook hot fix. Download the hot fix from the Cisco MeetingPlace for Outlook software page.

Installation Instructions:

  1. Copy mpoutlook.exe to Latitude\MPWeb\mpoutlook\ folder.

  2. Backup the local database and rename \latitude\mpweb\mpoutlook\Meetings.mdb to Meetings.mdb.bak.

  3. Restart MeetingPlace for Outlook service.
