Remote BBSM servers deployed in the central office configuration will lose communication the remote site through the site controller after upgrading from BBSM v5.1 to BBSM v5.2
Contact BBSU Product Management to obtain explicit instructions as to how this process should be performed to minimize the risk of downtime, and ensure a successful upgrade occur.
An upgrade utility will be released in the first quarter, 2003. This utility will be run locally, not remotely, on BBSM 5.1 compatible site controllers to bring them in compliance.
