Problem Description

After configuring and rebooting the CVPN3005 concentrator, it continuously reboots due to insufficient memory.

Background

Due to the increased size of the CVPN3005 code, larger configurations may exceed the default memory (32MB). After rebooting the concentrator, the system may continuously reboot itself. 

Problem Symptoms

After configuring and rebooting the CVPN3005 concentrator, it may continuously reboot displaying a Malloc() failed assert error on the console port. Below is an example of the error:

Workaround/Solution

If the above symptoms are encountered, you will need to upgrade your CVPN3005's memory to 64Megs by purchasing additional memory kit (CVPN3005-MEM-KIT=).
