When connecting a Cisco 827/827-4V router running Cisco® IOS Software Release 12.1(3)XG to any Cisco ADI-base Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer (DSLAM) Discrete Multi-Tone (DMT) line card, the router will not train.

The problem was found while doing interoperability testing for the Cisco SOHO77 router. The bug was documented in DDTS CSCds52870.
The router will not train and the user can not establish a connection to the Cisco ADI-based DSLAM line card.
The Cisco 827/827-4V Cisco IOS Software Release 12.1(3)XG images have been deferred and removed from CCO. Customers are encouaged to upgrade to the 12.1(3)XG1 images which are currently posted on CCO.
