UCCX HRC Scheduler Does Not Generate Report

Introduction

This document describes the process to resolve the issue when the Historical Reporting Client (HRC) reports are not generated in the target location. The Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX) HRC is configured to generate reports based on the schedule configured in the HRC scheduler. In some situations, the report is never generated in the target location.

Problem

The HRC scheduled reports are not generated. However, reports can be generated manually without issue. This occurs with all the scheduled reports.

Solution

Collect the CiscoSchPrintExport.log and you might see these errors:

This log shows that the scheduler could not establish a connection to the UCCX , and that an error occurred with the read connection to the UCCX. Therefore, the scheduler did not create the report.

In order to resolve this issue, ensure that both the forward and the reverse Domain Name System (DNS) lookups work between the PC and the UCCX servers. They should be able to contact each other by hostnames. If not, configure it in the same manner. It is very important that both the forward and the reverse lookups function correctly.
