Q. Can I copy the configuration from one system to another or create a template from it for TMS?

A. Copying configurations between systems is not supported in TMS. An endpoint's configuration consists of many parameters that are unique to that system alone. The method supported for applying configurations to multiple systems is using templates.

In Systems > Navigator, administrators may use the Compare Settings function for a system to view all system parameters and identify which settings may be suitable for a template. Parameters that are identified to be common across multiple systems (such as a Gatekeeper Address) should be added to a template. New systems can have a default template applied automatically.

In TMS 12.1 and newer, templates can also be copied, to simplify the creation of new templates.
