Q. What should I do when the phone does not power on?


Step 1:
Check all the connections into the phone: 5-volt power supply and RJ 45 Ethernet cable.

Step 2:
Check the wall socket and confirm that AC power is available.

Step 3:
Try plugging another electrical device into the socket to confirm power.

Note:? Remember the Linksys Voice System SPA922 is 802.3af compliant. Power over Ethernet allows devices that support PoE to receive their power from the switch, rather than from an external power supply. You need to connect it to a device that supports 802.3af. Below are some Linksys switches that are 802.3af compliant.
