Difficulties viewing the Caller ID can be attributed to an inactive caller ID function or it can be that the caller's information is withheld.
Make sure the Caller ID is activated. Check with your Landline Service Provider for verifications.
If the Caller ID is activated, the caller's information may be withheld.
