ANMS Scramblers

Protect Your Analog Video Signals

The Addressable Network Management Systems (ANMS) scramblers from Scientific Atlanta are designed to help worldwide cable network operators ensure that paying subscribers receive content - and others do not. All scramblers can be configured using as many as 30 scrambling modes, and provide:

  • Dynamic switched sync suppression
  • Video and sync inversion
  • Dropfield scrambling

Some products in this series also include SoundProtect audio masking, which keeps non-subscribers from so much as hearing transmissions. Products in this series are compatible with all existing Scientific-Atlanta addressable and non-addressable analog home terminals and some are also compatible with Jerrold, Zenith, Hamlin, Eagle, Tocom, and Pioneer scrambling systems.
