The Catalyst FXS Analog Interface Module integrates legacy analog devices into the campus multiservice network within Cisco AVVID (Architecture for Voice, Video, and Integrated Data). By providing legacy analog devices with access to the benefits of the campus multiservice network, the useful life and thus the return on investment (ROI) of these devices can be maximized. Migration to a fully converged multiservice network is also simplified.
