May 3, 2005. Customers will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until
May 3, 2010. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the Cisco 15454 Shelf Assembly version 15454-SA-ANSI. Table 2 provides a listing of product part numbers affected by this announcement.

PRODUCT MIGRATION OPTIONS
The replacement for the Cisco ONS 15454 Shelf Assembly version 15454-SA-ANSI is the Cisco ONS 15454 Shelf Assembly version 15454-SA-HD (Table 3). The replacement shelf assembly will support future high-density electrical service interface cards terminated on future high-density electrical interface adapter (EIA) panels. This product will also have a higher input current carrying capacity that may be necessary to support future system capabilities.
