Opportunities in Finance

Cisco Finance offers internship and full-time opportunities. Both allow participants the opportunity to work with knowledgeable mentors and inspiring leaders. You will discuss, debate, collaborate, and grow your career while making a lasting impact.

Internship Experience

Interns are individually assigned to a finance team and work on meaningful tasks and projects throughout the summer. They get to work on an intern team project to propose a solution to a real Cisco business challenge.

Can you tell me more about Procurement’s Full-Time Experience?

  • Our GPS (Global Procurement Services) New Grad Program provides a strong foundation for an excellent career. Participants are immediately assigned to real teams and provide valuable help to the GPS mission, exploring many projects across all of GPS’s various functions. New Grads get to shadow various professionals in key roles and functions to gain a more in-depth understanding of all that GPS does.
  • New Grads are also assigned to sit on GPS’s Employee Engagement team and will work on projects to support programs for learning, development, and fun for all GPS employees. 

Can you tell me more about the Procurement Internship Experience?

  • 12-week experience designed to give participants a taste of what it is like to be a part of Cisco Finance.
  • Interns participate in fun events throughout the summer, such as networking events, a chat with our CFO, social gatherings, a volunteering event, and much more!

What are the requirements for a Business Analyst Intern?

  • Candidates must be currently enrolled and heading into their final year of a certification program, Apprenticeship, Community College, or 4-Year University. 
  • Strongly prefer Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or other business-related degree paths. 

What are the requirements for a Business Analyst?

  • Candidates must be in their final year of studies or a recent graduate of a certification program, Apprenticeship, Community College, or 4-Year University.  
  • Strongly prefer Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or other business-related degree paths.  

What locations are you hiring for?

Opportunities are primarily available in Raleigh, NC, with limited opportunities in San Jose, CA and Atlanta, Georgia.

LIFT Program

Can you tell me more about LIFT’s Full-Time Rotational Program?

  • Cisco’s 2-year LIFT (Leaders in Finance and Technology) Program is the breeding ground for future finance leaders. With a new cohort starting each August, the program consists of 4 six-month rotations and is based in either Raleigh, NC or San Jose, CA. Rotations include Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting & Compliance, Sales Finance, Business Entity Finance, and more!
  • Participants also go through 4 non-consecutive weeks of training academies that focus on providing a well-rounded finance perspective. LIFT also offers peer leadership opportunities and numerous occasions to network with managers and senior leadership.
